Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Lagos. — Attraction in Lagos State

Thought Pyramid is a relatively new Art Gallery on Norman Williams, Ikoyi. If you are an Art lover, you should love this place. They have a fine blend of contemporary genres of African art ranging from paintings, sculptures, ceramics, mixed media and drawings. I love this place because of its massive exhibition space and impressive collection of works. The front desk staff are courteous and they have a wide range of catalogues of past art exhibitions displayed for sale at the main entrance. Its was beautiful, they have varying expo through out the year. Watch out for the advert and you will always find some thing different and new each time you visit.

This is my 2nd visit here and the expereince was lively. They have a nice ambience. Sometimes you might get refreshments if there is an expo going on. Please do buy an art work, they are always unique and be sure to ask about the rules about taking pictures inside the art centre.

Pyramid Art Centre is an exquisite centre for all things artistic. From the entrance which is bedecked by metal figures seemingly climbing to the well thought out spaces and works of art... it was a joy to simply dwell in this space for the few hours we spent shooting a portion of our film. Life size sculptures, miniature paintings, 75-inch frames and more line the walls and spaces which also contains several cozy lounges and a restaurant.
