Sun Heaven Hotel Lekki — Hotel in Lagos State

As an event planner... TORI EVENTS... I needed a place in lekki phase 1 to organise an emergency surprise marriage proposal for a client of mine.. I decided to use sun heaven hotel at admiralty way.. And I want to commend their hospitality.. It was like every single worker in that hotel wanted to make this dream come true.. They all gave their massive support, the bar person helped with wine glasses, and a knife for the cake, the door person also acted in the movie.. Lolzz,,.. The receptionist was so kind and they made my work easy as an event planner.. Despite the fact that it was an emergency event, sun heaven hotel helped us to achieve a great success.. Sun Heaven Hotel is a good hotel to lodge in Lekki in terms of comfort and serenity. Their rooms are well managed and the common areas look neat and properly secured. My room was fitted with an in house camera that enables you to view who knocks on your door to decide if you should open or not. The room corridors also have fire extinguishers incase of emergency. Now to the downside, their food wasnt good enough when compared to the amount paid. Paid over 4k for a plate of semo and egusi soup and goat meat. Soup didn't look fresh and was dry. On the day of check out, even though it wasnt yet time for checkout, staff came to remind me twice to check out before 12noon. This was embarrassing as they came within 10 minutes interval. I spent two nights at this hotel a few days before christmas last year. Despite making my bookings online, on getting there they claimed not to have a room reserved and after much persistence and complaints from me, they gave me a room which was not very different from a dilapidated room. The shower was dysfunctional and bathroom wall panel has fallen off. The reception was rowdy with random external guest probably visiting the bar. The visitor parking space is not spacious enough for more than 5 cars at a time. I will not recommend this location for anybody i care about.
