The Borough Lagos — Hotel in Lagos State

My girlfriend fell in love with the room from storied on Instagram. So no doubt we were destined to stay in on her birthday. I personally loved the attention to detail in the room but it’s easy to see that as the designer was handpicked out of one of Nigeria’s finest architect recreating a wall of the famous Abijo red clay mosque. Honestly appreciated it way more because we spent way more time than planned in the room because somebody (let’s not name names 🙃) was hung over all through the day because of the night before. Of all I think the biggest flex of the borough is just knowledge that when you make an order for food, it comes from the kitchens of Circa Lagos licks my lips in that meaty pasta I’d have loved to of my own free will decided to come back but on check out my oga has already proclaimed that we must spend a couple nights here again in December 🤦🏾‍♀️ So I guess I’d be seeing you soon! Don't believe these photos. Nice exterior, but inside is just basic.

I and my spouse arrived late in the night. The first room we checked into had a bad Air Conditioning. Due to the discomfort from the heat, we woke up.

An effort was actually made to change the room but to one of a lower standard. The front desk person claimed it was of same rate.

To have our bath in the morning, we discovered the water heater wasn't heating the water up properly, so we resorted to bathing with lukewarm water. The front desk officer claimed I didn't know how to use the shower, that's why we couldn't get hot water.

I rated it 2 star because the room rate of this hotel should be half the price for the value offered

The hotel has a great ambience....Clean and modern but the customer service is very poor...The staff are not professional at all..One of the housekeepers barged into my room with a master card without knocking. And when I was checking out the person at the reception, I guess he's the supervisor (A very dark skinned guy) collected the electronic key from me with his left hand while sitting down without even asking how my night was...So very unprofessional..The hotel could have been one of the best in lekki phase 1, if the staff are professionally trained to...
