The Grandeur Hotel Victoria Island — Hotel in Lagos State

I had the worst experience from the point I moved in till I moved out. I chatted with someone and he told me no one has had any complaints about their facility that everything is functioning perfectly.

It was a huge lie. I have had several complains since I came in and I’ll highlight them for you I got here since 11am and didn’t get a room key till almost 2pm due to some technical issues they claimed to have. I’m in the room but once I step out, I have to call them to open for me. After I got upset, they finally brought manual key ⁠The shower in the bathroom isn’t working properly. They came to change and fix it a couple of times ⁠They finally just brought me AC remote after an hour of moving in ⁠There is no internet as opposed to what is advertised on their page ⁠The TV is on but nothing is showing Since I moved in at 11am, there was no water and they told me they would pump and till almost midnight, the story still remained the same that they would pump water.

Generally, it’s my worst experience I have ever had. The exterior looks like it’s a good place but the interior is nothing to be happy about.

I highly recommend you stay away from this place for your peace of mind, sanity and value for your money...

The most terrible hotel I’ve been at, first of all the staffs are unprofessional, booking a room was extremely stressful as staff barely responds or ignores potential customers. I booked a deluxe room and when I arrived at the hotel they gave me a sub-standard room saying that the deluxe room was taken by another person. The room they gave me was the worst, the shower head is bad so water splashes all over the bathroom and not on the person that is meant to shower, the draining is terrible so after 2 minutes of showering your feet’s can be in a puddle of water. I was supposed to have breakfast the following day, they totally forgot and I had to remind them to bring my breakfast which I am entitled to. The pool is dirty as well. I met the owner who promised a refund but never paid it fraudulently. Also the location of the place is terrible where the security at the gate only allows residents go in and out after 8 and this does not involve hotel guests, so if you intend to enjoy Lagos night life, this hotel is definitely...

My team and I held our meeting here twice and it was a really good experience. Although we didn't get WiFi cuz of some issues they were having. Hopefully we get WiFi at some point. The podcast studio is lovely. Yes they have a podcast studio. They have workspaces, conference room, outdoor space for event, swimming pool (wasn't operational when I was there), they had beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. I think I have mentioned the things that might need some improvement so they have my 3 stars for now. It's a lovely place though. I was told buffet is 11k per person while a meal is 6k per person. Tea & water - N500. Rooms start from 29k except you are staying longer then they can give you a corporate rate. They have 4 types of rooms with different prices.
