My first experience at Presken Hotels Oniru was worst and I can’t even make referrals sorry! The basic amenities in the executive room I was lodged were faulty, intercom wasn’t working I had to use my airtime to call whenever I want to make a request, they knew and couldn’t inform me before checking in, the Ac wasn’t chilling, you’ll still have to sweat under the AC, limited tv channels, the internet wasn’t connecting had to use my data throughout my stay, even after complaining to the manager he was not even proactive to resolve my complaints.
The hotel is a typical example of “pay for and suit yourself”. I came into my room and had to share my space with mosquitoes, even after telling the receptionist to fumigate and left for 2hrs plus, came back, only for her to tell me that she forgot very nonchalant and not even apologetic about her actions. So rude
I was told that my room comes with a complimentary breakfast but the complimentary breakfast was not forth coming, giving silly excuses that there was no one to assist the chef in cooking, like seriously, without prior information and no apology. Very unprofessional
My room was messy, had to call to inform the reception to get the housekeeper, 3hrs nobody came, only to call again and she forgot, no apology, only for the housekeeper to come after I questioned why he took time before coming, he said nobody told him to come clean the room. Quite sad
I came back late at night and couldn’t have access to the estate where the hotel was located, the securities were transferring their aggressions on me for not being paid by some houses in the estate inclusive Presken hotels, they told me to turn back and take another route which there was no proper direction, I kept turning trying to locate my way back to the hotel I paid for, in that moment my fuel got exhausted, had to pack my car in the middle of the road looking for fuel because this would have been avoided if only Presken took pride in themselves by paying the securities knowing fully well that they render hospitality services, after buying black market at a high cost due to the emergency, I still drove back to same gate pleading with the securities but they were very adamant, only to call the hotel for directions and I was given a longer and wrong direction, if not for some good samaritans that followed me in my car to direct me properly, I literally spent 2hrs outside because of their nonchalant attitude, without proper orientation.
My stay was ruined by their bad customer service, and I had to suffer this because the management said they were short of staff, that’s the reason why I was denied a good quality customer service.
Since I was lodged nobody came to ask if I was enjoying my stay or not, they don’t assist guest with their luggages, what they do is to glance at you, after they had realize that my bill has been exhausted I heard a knock at my door with the question “they said I should ask you if you’re checking out” so bad, I couldn’t even wanted to stay any longer had to check out even before the check out time and I’m never recommending Presken Oniru.
No doubt the rooms are nice but the staff will gradually bring down Presken hotel’s reputation if they are not professionally trained and given proper orientation on how to...
Read moreI really don’t have something good to say about the services in this hotel nor the room especially the bathroom. Firstly, Towels aren’t given in time or open cleaning, until you call the reception multiple times. The rooms aren’t cleaned daily either, you have to request for them to come clean. The cleaning guy only mops the bathroom and changes the soap, doesn’t thoroughly clean the toilet nor the sink. The bedlinens weren’t changed after the cleaning either, instead he turned the used pillows to the back so the other side is facing the front, he turned the bedsheet upside down as well so the part that was down is now up, the duvet was also flipped up down so the part closest to the feet is now towards the pillow.
You don’t get breakfast with water either, infact we didn’t get water at all throughout our stay. We have to literally keep calling them back to back to be begging them to bring the supposed complimentary breakfast to our room, it was so disrespectful and uncalled for! The walls are falling apart, door needs to be repaired, cobwebs!!
The bathroom glass that demarcates the shower from the toilet is probably not rightly fixed or needs to be extended to the ground and a bit forward, therefore water from the bathroom sips out thereby having a pool of water after shower. It was always a messy situation. There is also no drainage on the floor of the toilet so the pool of water is just everywhere and you’re only given one floor towel to sort yourself out despite complaining to have the room changed.
They need to consider thorough renovation or cleaning with fumigation, not just painting the walls.
The only things I enjoyed was the AC and the front desk. Not the kitchen nor the...
