Villa Toscana Hotel, Lagos — Hotel in Lagos State

Firstly, if you use Google maps for directions, do not turn to the side street when you approach the hotel. The entrance is right on the road. Tried calling the number attached to the hotel but it was switched off, got a second number from their Instagram page, also switched off. The hotel was just there, the facility needs urgent maintenance. You'll find creaking furniture- beds, chairs, etc. And a toilet that shakes when you sit on it (Room 202). Running water is brown, really turned my tummy at the thought of ordering their food. Watch out for the door stopper as it can cause some serious damage to your foot (Room 202). The prices are really good for VI but if you don't mind driving into Lekki, you'll get far better at the same price. They only had two dishes for the complimentary breakfast- toast and omelette or noodles. The toast took forever to get to the table, and it was cold and barely toasted with no butter. At the point of departure, I had to wait at the reception while they sent someone to the room to presumably check that I didn't take anything. The rooms are big and nice but 1.i found a rat in my room 2.the laundry ppl damaged my clothes and didn't care to fix it They charge to warm up food and on the process of that they burnt my food 4.the owner of the hotel Mr.Franklyn is never on site but they kicked me out of the hotel cause I complained about all these issues then the owner of the hotel called the hotel to speak to me And started shouting at me dat I need to leave with out even asking me what's going on. i didn't break one offense on there property they had police come to take me out the hotel after they did all dis to a hotel guest I will never in my life referr any of my guest to stay there. Oh yeah and while I was staying there I even got them business from 3 of my friends they came to come stay there cause I was there but they never understand the owner of the hotel is rude and very unprofessional may God Bless his continuing of his...

Pros: Relatively affordable , good location, spacious rooms, 24 hours electricity, cool roof top bar, courteous staffs: James, Prince, Ola, Blessing, Peace, Muhammad Ali, emmanuel are lovely people. The security guy is also a lovely man. Delicious menu of local delicacies. The roof top bar 'ocean lounge' is a lovely place to hang out and get fresh air from the ocean whilst noticing the mega land filling construction going on and also having a nice overview of VI from the other view side.

Cons: Noisy guests most times especially weekends. The same breakfast offerings everyday. A decent level of maintenance would not be bad especially the bathrooms.

Overall I will definitely recommend villa toscana on the balance of pros outweighing the cons especially the friendly junior staffs...
