Exceptional Service at Radisson Blu Muscat – Special Thanks to Victor and His Team
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the buffet breakfast restaurant at Radisson Blu Muscat, Panorama , and I cannot express enough how impressed I was, not just with the food and ambiance, but most importantly, with the outstanding service—especially during a particularly busy Ramadan breakfast service.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the team was operating at full capacity, managing a high volume of guests while ensuring everything ran smoothly. Despite the fast-paced environment, the staff remained professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by Victor and his team.
Victor went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was not just good, but truly memorable. Despite being extremely busy, he still took the time to personally ensure that I received a hot chocolate, a small but meaningful gesture that showed just how much he values customer satisfaction. Many places pride themselves on luxury and fine dining, but it’s the human touch, the ability to make guests feel special and valued, that truly sets a place apart—and Victor exemplifies this perfectly.
Throughout the morning , we observed his leadership, his ability to manage his team under pressure, and his genuine care for every guest in the restaurant. He maintained a calm and friendly demeanor, ensuring that all tables were well-attended and that guests' requests were met efficiently. Without Victor’s outstanding service, our experience would not have been as enjoyable, and quite honestly, it is one of the main reasons we would choose to return to this hotel.
The food selection was fantastic, offering a delicious variety of dishes to cater to all tastes. The live stations added a wonderful interactive element to the meal, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. However, as good as the food was, it was the warmth and dedication of the staff that truly made this experience stand out.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Victor and his team for their hard work, patience, and kindness during such a demanding service. Their professionalism and hospitality reflect positively not only on the restaurant but on the entire Radisson Blu Muscat team. I sincerely hope that the management recognizes their contributions, as it is employees like Victor who make a real difference in guest experiences.

Read moreThe first issues started at the check-in. The receptionist could not see whether our breakfast was included or not and assured us to let us know later on, which unfortunately did not happen.
During our stay, we came across several issues, particularly with the executive lounge, which significantly affected our experience. Contrary to our expectations, the lounge was not situated on the exclusive executive floors, but rather shared a common area with the dinner buffet. This lead to some confusion about the inclusivity of services.
On our first evening, from 18:30 to 20:00, we were told explicitly that we could not select from the buffet and would instead be provided with a selection of snacks, including spring rolls and kibbeh, chosen by the staff, along with a soft drink and a small salad without any dressing. We were informed that the kitchen had been notified and that our executive lounge snacks would be served shortly.
However, the next day presented a completely different scenario. A different staff member informed us that we were, in fact, allowed to help ourselves to the buffet, including salads, mezze, and desserts. When questioned about the discrepancy from the previous day, she simply stated that the waitress from the prior evening probably wasn’t aware of the policy.
We were confused by the conflicting information the other day, so we requested to speak with the manager to understand why we were receiving such varied information and to clarify exactly what was included with our access to the executive lounge. The manager’s response made it even worse, explaining that normally, the lounge only offered some snacks and soup—though we were told just the day before that soup was not included. Furthermore, the manager mentioned that an „exception“ had been made the previous day due to some guests’ dissatisfaction with the limited selection, a detail that was not communicated to us at the time.
This lack of consistency and transparency left us feeling undervalued, questioning why our experience seemed so disjointed as if we had not paid for the full services promised by the executive lounge. I found the overall handling of the situation very disappointing and unprofessional. Something that should not happen at such a reputed worldwide hotel chain.
