Zobeez resto cafe — Restaurant in Muscat

Today 06 Aug 2025, I visited your cafe and ordered tea after noticing the vintage samovar in the tea preparation area. The samovar caught my attention and gave me the impression that the tea would have a traditional, rich flavor. However, the tea did not meet that expectation. it lacked the depth and taste typically associated with samovar-brewed tea. I believe there is room for improvement to better reflect the charm and uniqueness of the samovar.

I also tried the Avil Milk, which was listed under your special menu. Unfortunately, I found it quite underwhelming. For a drink priced at 1.2 OMR, it felt very basic—just milk, a small amount of crushed banana, and a few peanuts (some of which were bitter and may not have been of the best quality). Given the price and the "special" label, I expected a richer, more indulgent version, especially considering that similar items in places like the Kozhikode bus stand offer better taste. Adding a variety of nuts and increasing the portion could enhance its appeal. Also, the vanilla ice cream used affected the overall flavor negatively; I would recommend using blended frozen milk instead to preserve the traditional taste.

I did not try other items on the menu, so I cannot comment on them. Please do not take this feedback negatively, consider it a suggestion for improvement. I genuinely hope you take this constructively and use it to enhance...

I recently visited and had a mixed experience. The cafe offers a spacious indoor seating area, and the availability of parking for around 10 cars is a plus. I tried their kappa and meen curry—while the taste was decent, the portion size didn’t justify the price. The chaya and ennakadi were just okay, but they do offer a variety of snacks, which is a good option for quick bites, but should visit before 6.30

Would I visit again? Only if I don’t have any...
