Went to Em En cafe for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint.

The food was great, good portion sizes and flavourful. We ordered waffles, hot chocolate, chicken grilled sandwich, mushroom soup, charcoal chicken, risotto, panini chicken, Moroccan chicken, bro oooo soup, honey cake, biscoff cheesecake, peanut tart, tiramisu, pistachio 3 milk cake, and an apple dessert I can’t remember the name of.

Almost ALL the food was great. The chicken panini wasn’t on panini and instead some hot dog type bun that was grilled but the filling was good. The 3 milk cake was a bit drenched on the extra side and the apple dessert which was a filling of vanilla mousse was average.

The desserts were gorgeous look at, and besides the ones mentioned above all tasted fantastic, and I haven’t had a good tiramisu in a while which was a treat. The biscoff cheesecake was wiped clean pretty quickly and the peanut tart had a beautiful pastry crust which was baked to perfection and super fresh.

The ambience and setup is unique and the whole pink set up is quite soothing and chirpy at the same time. Hats off for keeping those sofas super clean and new, the only downside was, the sofas were so clean that they hadn’t dried from the last wash and our clothes literally started absorbing the water from the damp sofa. We couldn’t change seats since all the sofas were wet but they resolved it for us by getting us cushions.
