Al Natural Resort — Hotel in Bocas del Toro

This is the second time that my family and I stayed at Al Nartural Resort and this place is just... magic! The place is not only overwhelmingly beautiful, amazing crystalline water, corals, fishes, surrounded by wonderful islands, but the vibe and the atmosphere of Al Natural is absolutely outstanding, thanks to Michel and Vincent and also their amazing staff, who takes such good care of us and provided 5 stars services, with kindness and patience :-) all the time. we were lodging in a beautiful apartment on the second floor of a house, with a breathtaking view on the water and the beach. The place and the amenities were excellent, super clean (I am Swiss... I am very picky on this) and it was so great to listen to the sound of the ocean from the terrace! The food was also absolutely amazing, thank you to the kitchen ladies and Vincent who is a "top notch" chef, I ate one of the most fresh and delicious fish I had ever experience! My daughter is also a picky eater and they were cooking extra meal for her every day, she was so grateful and everyone was so kind with her, especially Dulce, Michel's dog :-): she literally spent hours playing with her and every morning she was waiting impatiently to meet Dulce and play with her on the beach. It was really the most joyful and relaxing holidays my family and I ever had, and we have planed to come back for a 3rd time this year. We had such an amazing stay at Al Natural, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We travelled with our two young children (8 months and 2.5 years), and everyone was so kind, for example making sure they could have an early dinner and showing them the monkeys who live in the trees on the resort. The excursions we did were great - including seeing the sloths and dolphins, watching turtles hatch, and visiting a local village. Other guests said how amazing the snorkelling was, and we’d love to come back in a few years when our little ones are old enough so we can experience it too! The food and drinks were wonderful, and setting beautiful - I wish we had longer than the 5 nights we did stay. We had an amazing time at Al Natural Resort in Bocas del Toro! We stayed for four nights at the end of our Panama round trip, and we are so happy we chose this place. The resort truly feels like paradise.

The concept of the open-air houses is incredible—waking up to a view of the sea was absolutely wonderful. Isla Bastimentos itself is magical: we spotted sharks, rays, a sloth just a few meters from our bathroom, beautiful birds, and so much more. At night, we even experienced stunning bioluminescence right from the deck of our house.

The staff at Al Natural are extremely friendly and helpful. Michel is a fantastic host who genuinely cares for his guests, and the kitchen team led by Vincent prepares excellent meals (and even accommodates picky eaters—perfect when visiting with children!).
