Our stay at Tropical Suites Hotel was absolutely unforgettable—truly a slice of paradise! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that set the tone for our entire visit.

The hotel is stunning, with its prime location right above crystal-clear waters offering breathtaking views. We stayed in one of the overwater suites, and it was like living in a dream. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities while still maintaining a tropical charm. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and stepping out onto the private balcony to see endless turquoise waters was an experience we’ll never forget.

The dock was another standout feature—perfectly designed for convenience and adventure. We were able to hop on boats directly from the hotel for snorkeling, island hopping, and sunset cruises. Returning to the hotel by boat after a day of exploring added to the magical experience.

Tropical Suites Hotel offers something for everyone, from relaxing by the water to engaging in endless activities. The staff was incredibly accommodating, helping us plan our excursions and making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. They even catered to dietary needs and had excellent dining options, including fresh local seafood and tropical-inspired dishes that were absolutely delicious.

This hotel is like an oasis in Bocas. It is wonderful to have a swimming pool to dip in on hot days. Every morning I witnessed the pool being cleaned from one morning two people wearing snorkel masks with scrub brushes to the vacuum. |The food is delicious. I ate breakfast and dinner here. I highly recommend signing up for the breakfast option; the presentation, quality of food, and variety is excellent. Breakfast options include an omelette of spinach and turkey bacon on fresh focaccia bread, Salmon with poached eggs on fresh focaccia with an avocado puree , Chocolate pancakes with blueberry granola compote with a side of bananas on Nutella. All served with fresh fruit. |The rooms were spacious and clean . If feasible, I would highly recommend an ocean view. It is delightful to sit out on the patio with an overhead fan. There is air-conditioning that you can control in your room and works very well.|The hotel has an eco-focus with a spot in the lobby to fill up your water bottle with safe drinkable water to reduce plastic use. There is a large smart TV. Wi-Fi works very well.|The staff is very friendly and kind. They speak English but are also patient to help you if you want to learn some Spanish. |This hotel is well situated if you want to go diving, take a water taxi, go to Spanish class, go to the grocery store, the airport, etc. |My opinion is this is the number one spot to stay...

We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas. Our welcome was wonderful from the female receptionist and we loved the welcome drink. The room was large, good aircon, Netflix and a large king bed. Food from the restaurant was good quality but expensive. Service was poor and unfriendly in the restaurant, the waiter was extremely slow, at one point I stood for 10 minutes waiting for the bill while he stared at the tablet without speaking a word. I actually went away and came back later as it was taking so long. No smiles or politeness and often forgot requests. Room wasn’t cleaned by 3pm the next day which was frustrating as we then had to leave the room for it to be cleaned. The other receptionist for the rest of the stay was not particularly friendly or keen to help. The pool is stunning and clean. Could do with some parasoles for the sunbeds as the sun was relentless. Love the swim up bar. Overall, has potential but the service let it down for us for an expensive hotel ($200 a night over Xmas without breakfast).
