We paid 659 soles for a three bedroom apartment for three adults for four nights through Agoda. The hotel was secure and in an upmarket residential neighbourhood. It was a 950 meter, slightly up hill, walk to Plaza de Armas. The hotel arranged an airport transfer for 30 soles which worked perfectly. The young lady at reception spoke good English and was very helpful. ||The multi-level hotel does not have a lift. The apartment was sufficiently spacious with a lounge suite, dining table and chairs and kitchen. The televisions were in the bedrooms, not the living room. There was one double room and a smaller room with a double and single beds, which shared a bathroom. There was another small double room with a small en suite. The apartment was a little tired with patched and mismatched furniture. It was serviced daily. Reception helped us arrange off site laundry for 5 soles per kilo which was excellent. ||The kitchen was not really well equipped. It had a blender and a slow cooker, unlikely appliances for travellers, but nothing as useful as a toaster, griller or sandwich press. ||Overall it was good value for a...
Read moreFor our stay in Arequipa, we opted for a furnished flat in, that would give us the opportunity to avoid eating at restaurants all the time. Even if the food in Peru is fantastic, it’s good to have the choice to sometimes eat “at home” during your stay.||||The web-site for Apartotel Incamin was very attractive, and the whole booking process was swift and efficient. ||||On our arrival at the bus station the transportation organised by them waited for us, and took us rapidly to the apartment, which met all our expectations and was exactly as described on the web-site: very nicely decorated, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The welcome by the owners was very warm, coupled with a maté of coca. Whatever we needed during our stay, they attended to it in a very friendly and efficient manner.||||The Incamin is very well situated in a peaceful and quiet district of Arequipa, within easy walking distance to the heart of the city and the main market and a great choice of restaurants nearby.||||All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at Incamin Apart Hotel, and would recommend it without any hesitation to any...
Read moreWe checked in about 7:30pm in the pouring rain and it was very cold. When taken to our apartment it was below street level, dark and very cold. I asked where the heat control was and our hostess stated "there is no heat". I asked for a heater and was brought a very small heater that would not project the heat. I was told to tell them when I wanted to shower 1/2 hour before so they could turn the water on. I did so, but the water was only lukewarm and uncomfortable. My only option was to go to bed and try to stay warm. In the morning we realized there was no electricity so the heater didn't work nor did the internet nor did anything else. We notified the hostess we would have to leave and agreed to pay for our nights stay plus a 15% fee. When we located another hotel my husband went back for our luggage and she decided to charge him not only for the one night but AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT PLUS NOTIFY BOOKING.COM THAT WE WERE "NO SHOWS". She had agreed to $64 and we payed $127. I would not stay here unless you...
