Very small but well ordered and maintained museum with a decent variety of artifacts. Cost is low, was 5 soles per person. It only took us about 18 minutes to go through the small galleries and we enjoyed them and took our time. The mummies were very fascinating to see. No photographs were allowed in the interior gallery of the artifacts, but the lady working told us the small section after the ancient artifacts with the bench and holy family and replica heads was ok to photograph. Only improvement I would recommend to the museum is to add a English version of the write up on more of the displays; about half had both Spanish and English language write ups, but a couple more would be neat.
