All the bad things first; my private en suite room was basic and insulation was virtually non existent, so it got really cold at night. However the room was spacious, clean and in a decent state, and honestly had one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I have ever seen in my life. The bedding provided makes up for the lack of insulation. Hot water is also available around the clock, which is a luxury in Arequipa as anyone who has travelled here will know. Laundry services are also offered at a very reasonable PEN 3/kg. Internet was also excellent.
