The staff working here is amazing! They will give you all information needed to visit the city or do some activities nearby. They offer some tours but can also explain how to do things on your own. The dormitory (25 soles/bed/night) is little bit small but it features to small bed and one double bed. Breakfast (free with the night) is simple but good and rare thing includes eggs. The water heater system has been changed recently and now provides hot water (quite hard to set a temperature that is not boiling) all day long in the shower. I originally booked just one night at La Casa de Ana B&B after getting off the night bus, planning to catch up on some sleep, but I ended up coming back a few times and staying for over a week in total. I really liked the vibe of the place. The rooms are super quiet, the beds are comfortable with great linen, and the staff are genuinely friendly.

It wasn’t busy when I stayed, which made it a perfect spot to relax and recover after the Huayhuash trek. The location is a little bit outside the main town, but I actually grew to like that, as there are still plenty of good food options nearby, and it’s only a short walk into town anyway.

I stayed at Casa de Ana for 13 days during my visit to Huaraz. Romer and Ana of Casa de Ana were definitely a part of why I stayed as long as I did. They are wonderful people who care about the guests who stay with them. From lining up treks to information about the region they were so helpful. Casa de Ana is very clean, from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the common areas I always felt that things were being taken care of. The upstairs terrace is comfortable and bright.
