InkaHuset Airport — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

We had an easy booking and prompt communication. The absolutely delightful Auntie Mary picked us up (and dropped us back to the airport). She is so nice and gave us hugs as if she’d known us for years. You must arrange this service as the accommodation would be impossible to find/ enter without. It was a $19 return service. Read the reviews to make sure this is the accomodation you’re after. We were after a bed to sleep since we arrived super late and left early the next day, so this suited us. It is an apartment (not a hotel) approximately 5 minutes from the airport. If you want a hotel, there’s a holiday inn at crazy prices. This apartment is in what feels like a super dodgy area as plenty of the places have graffiti and windows have metal bars to prevent robbers o presume. The owner has plenty of these styles of places. Ours was bottom floor with two rooms (so I presume you may be sharing), with a comfortable bed and wi fi. There is also a bathroom with towels and products to use. The kitchen is there but doesn’t seem like it’s been in use. It suited our purposes entirely but I wouldn’t choose to stay if you had any longer than an overnight stay. To everyone who is considering staying at this place, PLEASE DO NOT! They cancelled my reservation upon my arrival at Lima airport. I was with my Wife, 5 yr old son and 1 year baby. We arrived close to midnight. Imagine our kids both asleep and tired. Both of them in arms, cold and with luggage. Turns out that they preferred not to honor our reservation, because they wanted us to get an additional room for the children. We were leaving in 12 hours. I understand every business needs to make money, but these people just want to extort you in getting another room, otherwise they won't let you stay. Imagine that! They surely take "Bleeding the Tourist" to another level. The worst. You cannot be sure that your reservation is confirmed at this hotel, when traveling. Alot of other places to choose from. We stayed here overnight as we had a late flight arrival and early flight in the morning. It was only 5 mins from the airport. I on would recommend booking the transfer through the place, as the apartment is unmarked and would be difficult to find. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet at night and good for a short sleep (as long as you don’t mind a shared bathroom). We were met at arrivals and escorted to a taxi, just outside the airport gates, which was good as it missed all the traffic. The owners brought us inside and showed us the room and were waiting for us in the morning. I’d recommend bringing cash for payment, and not wandering outside, as the area didn’t seem safe.
