Meliá Lima — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

My family and I recently stayed at Melia Lima for 12 nights, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Since we arrived before check-in time, Pablo ensured we were comfortable, offering us drinks and checking in regularly while we waited for our room to be ready.

The front desk team—Grover, Luz, Vanessa, Susan, Bryan, and Alexander—were always friendly and helpful, greeting us with warm smiles and going out of their way to provide any information we needed. Exceptional customer service!

A special thanks to Louis, Isidro, and Alfredo at the entrance for their outstanding hospitality, as well as to Kelly for making our drinks at the restaurant.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome chocolates and the nightly delivery of chocolates by Louis and Bruno.

I stayed at this property with my family for approximately two weeks this March. Over the years I became a regular at this hotel, and there are very good reasons for my loyalty:|1. Location. Lima is home to approximately 10 million people, so traffic can be horrific. This hotel is conveniently located in the San Isidro district, which not only is a very pleasant part of the town but is also not too far to the city’s historic centre and the upscale districts of Miraflores and Barranco.|2. Cost-effectiveness. The price/quality ratio of this hotel does provide value for money. This time we opted for a “The Level” room, which gives access to a spacious lounge located at the 9th floor, where you can have breakfast in the morning and unwind with drinks and snacks in your spare moments during the day.|3. Excellent management. I should congratulate Guest Experience Manager Ms. Susana Tamayo for her commitment to service and her tireless efforts to make sure that everything works with seamless efficiency.|4. It was a five star experience and much more. The level premium rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Being that they are on the 9th floor, they are very quiet. Access to the level lounge and the service from all the staff was like a dream come true. The view from up there was beautiful and the ocean is visible even!

The level lounge offers excellent food. There was a choice of different items from a royal hamburger for lunch to chicken cordon blue for dinner. The breakfast looked good and very private but we ate downstairs in the buffet breakfast which was plentiful and delicious.

The pool area was an oasis away from the city. It was refreshing to take a dip and cool off in the hot March sun. I could not see any shower facilities at the pool but there were washrooms. The loungers were comfortable and despite the area not being super private, we had the pool to ourselves for about 30 minutes which was really nice.

What we appreciated most about our stay was the late check out! All of the staff we encountered were masterful at customer service and even when waiting outside for a taxi the kindness of the staff continued. From start to end our stay was perfect and the staff here were...
