Passion Barranco — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Booked four nights but left after the first. ||There is no such thing as quiet hours here. Our room was up by the roof garden. Went to sleep when we arrived about midnight and there was someone playing a guitar and singing. This was fine. But then everyone came back at 4am to have an after party which continued until 7/8am. The staff clearly didn’t see this as an issue even though they were directly outside our door! You could hear some unsavoury things going on in the communal bathroom which shared a window with our private bathroom too. ||We had only paid for the first 2 nights at check in which was lucky as it took a while to persuade the guy who worked there that we wanted our money back for the second night we won’t be staying! His argument was that booking.com take commission, but they marked us as a no show anyway! We managed to get 50% back for the second night... eventually! ||Weird set up. We could look down directly into a dorm from our window. It looked an absolute mess! ||Showers...

I am a medical doctor from New Zealand. I did my internship in Cayetano Hospital and stayed with this hostel for about a month!||Honestly 11/10. Barranco is the best area to stay in Lima. Lima is such a nice city anyway to visit. Elvis, one of the owners was the most helpful and kind person. We spent many evenings practising Spanish. He is funny, intelligent and friendly. I am hoping I can come back one day to visit Barranco again. It holds the most special place in my heart. Take care Barranco. Till next time!...

Passion Baranco Best hostel in lima, friendly staff, great people there. Theres a kitchen with a Tv on which you can watch netflix and eat. The Bedrooms are all spacious and large. The Highlight of the hostel is the terrace on the roof equipped with a powerful speaker system and a lounging area fitted with two couches and a coffeetable.
