La Candelaria — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

I always try to see a folkloric or dance show wherever I'm visiting as I love seeing all the different dances! To book tickets, you can either contact them via whatsapp to reserve, or they also have half the seats available through ticketmaster (with no fees). We booked through ticketmaster as we found this easier. The drinks were really well priced, and we had eaten before we came so didn’t have anything to eat. Everything is in Spanish so as a unilingual English speaker, sometimes you had to guess what was going on. This was different than similar shows I’ve been to in other countries in that it was interactive with the audience. There would be one or two cultural dances and then the MC would chat to the audience a bit, then the audience would be invited up on stage to dance for a song or two. The audience seemed to really enjoy this. It was fun to watch people dance, but I would honestly rather the show be 2 hours of the professionals dancing than 4 hours of the mix of pros and audience as it was a long time to stay there. This places is expectacular! Great music and Peruvian traditions and culture. Great food and delicious Pisco sour. Great athmosphere. I danced so much every single dance and I had so much fun and good time. My friends took me there for a reunion after 20 years we left high school and it was the best choice. I higly recommend everyone to go to this place to have fun and good entertainment. There were people from all over the world dancing and having a healthy fun. First time here and I have to say that it was a great experience To start off the host was so warm and nice and interacted with the audience The colorful and bright costumes from the dancers were matched with the energy and fierce to perform each dance.
