Ayahuasca — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Me and my husband are on holiday in Lima and so far this is the first place where we felt a little unwelcome.

Today, around 4 pm we made a reservation with Cecilia. She was very nice to us, show us the place around and we really enjoyed the location, decorations and it seems that the place was very welcoming. So we booked with Cecilia a table for the evening for two people on the terrace downstairs. She mentioned that Daniela would take great care of us.

So after the great treat of Cecilia, we were so excited to come to your place for drinks and dinner. Then we met Daniela, who actually wasn't aware of our reservation. However another girl called her and said something in Spanish, then they found a piece of paper with our reservation.

We assumed we could sit where we originally booked.

So we went inside, Daniella showed us the table that wasn't where we wanted to be sat.

She said something about the rule: three people only per table and we can sit only upstairs.

We walked down to use the toilet and we noticed numerous couples sitting on their own.

So you can appreciate we were a little confused considering it was pretty quiet in there and not busy at all.

We left the place and had our dinner somewhere else. On the way out we saw only back of the hostess, she basically didn't care that...

I'm absolutely OBSESSED with this place! I stopped by for lunch, but I can only imagine how magical dinner must be. This restaurant/bar consistently exceeds my expectations - they're one of those rare gems that never disappoint. Their handcrafted cocktails are truly some of the best in Barranco! The food? Absolutely divine. I devoured the octopus with sautéed vegetables, and the chicken nuggets were a surprising highlight. But what really sets this place apart is its unique atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, I fell in love with the exterior and interior design of the building. And then there's the courtyard... it's like a little slice of heaven. The combination of high tables, outdoor seating, and cozy heated lamps creates the perfect ambiance, even on chilly days. I can only imagine how breathtaking it must look at night. I absolutely loved my experience at this bar. The atmosphere was simply fantastic. It’s a spacious place with plenty of tables available, at least when I visited. What I particularly enjoyed was the diverse mix of music they played, spanning various genres. It created an enjoyable and lively ambiance.

This bar is a perfect spot to gather with friends for a nice chat or even bring your family along. I tried the tequeños, which were incredibly delicious, and a Pisco Sour, which is probably one of the most popular alcoholic beverages in Peru, and it was excellent.

What’s even more appealing is that it’s quite affordable. We paid around $15 per person, and the Pisco Sour was around $10. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.
