Palosanto Backpackers — Hotel in Máncora

Hostel would be better but they play loud music all day long. It's setup to be relaxing hostel but bartender plays loud annoying music all day. Nobody wants to stay here long. They don't have food like most hostels in Peru. The internet is okay but not reliable. Staff is unfriendly and treat place like it is there home or hangout spot. Not great for people looking to relax and get away from party hostel. This place tries to be party hostel but without all the amenities of big party hostel. They called the cops on someone for having a girl in his bed for 10 minutes. I left aftwr seeing how they treat guests. Bartender hits on every girl that came to hostel including girls with boyfriends. Me and my friend both had girlfriends with us and bartenders were trying to be creepy with them and they said they didn't feel safe so we only end up...

Not a good hostel to stay in. Rooms are hot with no fans and full of mosquitoes. Noise from the bar and the bar next door until 4am. unprofessional staff, walking into the bathroom without knocking while you’re in there. Also letting new people go into dorms at 5am waking everyone else up (8 hours before check in). The power keeps going out at least once a night for long periods so no fan (If you’re lucky enough to get one in the first place). Would not recommend if you’re looking for a chill vibe.
