CANDELARIA HOTEL — Hotel in Puno

Superbly cheap place, hence the 3 stars. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either - we only stayed for two nights - arriving late from Cusco, spending a day at Titicaca lake and then left early. Staff was nice, they called us a taxi when we asked but they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Spanish - still managed simple communication needed. The room we got given was right outside the street so it can be a bit noisy but that didn't bother us. Bathroom didn't really have hot water - it was ok one morning but the following day there was no hot water and water power...

I don't recommend that you stay here. I'll break down the pros and cons: Pros: cheap, good WiFi Cons: poor quality rooms/fixtures, showers low pressure and lack of hot water, noise from the street and from other guests, could hear animals moving around above us (rats?) BUT on reflection: the staff were very nice, they were friendly and helpful and booked...

De lo peor, reserve una matrimonial y una doble y creo q fue el peor error que cometí, ya que imaginé que tomaba un buen servicio pero no fue así, Primero la cama de la matrimonial un asco el colchón, no había agua caliente, no tenía servicio de internet. La doble igual, sin agua caliente mal colchón, sin internet. La gente no deja dormir por qué caminan toda la noche, lo peor q me pasó una señora caminaba con los tacos encima de mi habitación. NO VOLVERIA JAMAS. A pesar de ser céntrico PÉSIMO lugar.lo único rescatable es la amabilidad...
