Las Mercedes — Hotel in Trujillo

We looked at several $35-50 hotels near the pedestrian street of Pizarro. This one turned out best. A great, friendly, and incredibly helpful staff! We had a large room in the back, low noise, lots of windows and 2 bed side lights. The bath was updated but a bit on the small side. Hot water eventually made it to the third floor, but certainly got hot.||||Clean room, nice bed, cable TV with some English channels, and even a full length mirror which my wife always likes. A super strong wifi which we really enjoyed after 2 months in Colombia/Ecuador where we were constantly internet challenged. The router was right outside our room.||||Very pleasant "American" breakfast that you could enjoy in the upstairs breakfast room or they will bring to your room...free room service, what a deal!||||Perhaps some new carpeting would help the appearance a bit, but at the price this hotel is definitely worth looking at.||||FYI, taxi fare from the main bus terminal...

This is an inexpensive hotel located close to downtown Trujillo but not right at the center where taxis are blaring. My room and bathroom was clean although some musty old smell could be felt with the heat which still lingered in April. They have wireless internet but signal was weak in my room and had to go one floor down to access the interenet.||Breakfast is included in a dining room that is located in the upper floor. it consisted of basic coffe, juice and...

Le plus de cet hôtel est sans hésitation le personnel. Ils sont tous très accueillants et souriants. C'est vraiment très appréciable 👍.

La chambre était très spacieude. Mais coté cour, il y a beaucoup de bruit. Celui du restaurant et de la galerie marchande, tous les deux accolés à l'hôtel.

L'hôtel est situé au centre, à 10 minutes de marche de la Plaza del arme.

Par contre, il y a plusieurs points d'ameliorations. La chambre et la salle de bains etaient sales. Le petit déjeuner, qui est compris dans le prix, se limite à du pain (margarine et confiture) et du café concentré.

Pour le tarif des chambres, c'est très décevant. Sur certains commentaires, il y a des photos de la salle de sport. Elle est en fait à côté de l'hôtel. Nous n'y avons pas accès.

Donc, c'est une adresse très accueillante mais le prix n'est pas justifié par rapport...
