Andean Wings Valley — Hotel in Urubamba

This place felt truly magical. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms, while sparse, were clean and spacious. While I really loved the location, there were a few things I wasn't completely happy with. Our room had two double beds, and as a married couple we expected to share a queen or king. The room had no built-in heat, only a small and loud, but efficient space heater. We finally got out of bed and turned it off when it got too hot and loud. The beds were very firm, and even though we use a firm mattress at home, we both found the surface uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well either night. ||But the restaurant staff was gracious and the food was wonderful. Even though we had no other choice of a place to eat, we'd have chosen to eat there anyway. They fixed a bag breakfast for those on our early tour since the kitchen wasn't open at our pickup time. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the things mentioned above, and we may have felt differently in another room. The internet connection was...

Andean Wings Valley is one of the best places we have been to in Urubamba. It is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience that beautifully blends nature and culture. The peaceful surroundings are perfect for relaxation, with the alpaca roaming around, adding to the charm of the place.

One of the highlights is witnessing a talented local lady in traditional clothing skillfully making crochet, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The culinary experience was top-notch, especially the breakfast buffet, which boasts a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and presented.
