I went to Urubamba for a little bit of exploration with my mountain bike and also to disconnect from the city. Hernán, the manager, was very kind and caring, I told him I was going with my bicycle so he gently picked me up from the bus station and took me to the hostel, he also helped me in the same way by the time I was checking out. The place was spacious, it had great mountain views and some facilities such as a kitchen, a place for barbeques, a TV room, a very big garden and some rental bikes. The room I had was big enough, the bed was comfortable and warm and I could sleep very well at night. The hostel was not super close to Urubamba's main square, about a 20 to 25 min walk (not far to be honest). However, you get the benefit of being closer to nature and there is a nice restaurant less than a block away.
