Our adventure began with high hopes as we embarked on our journey to Wifala Hotel. The closer we got, the more our excitement grew. Stepping out of our airport transfer(150sol), we were met with large doors that slowly opened, revealing a stunning architectural marvel adorned with vibrant greenery. Opening the door to our room, we were greeted by a breathtaking view and impeccable accommodations. The first night, we had one of two rooms booked and wondered why. The nights passed, and more guests arrived, bringing the dormant hotel alive.
As dawn broke, we strolled through the lush garden, enveloped by the majestic mountain scenery & crisp air. Along the way, we struck up a conversation with a warm and welcoming man who turned out to be the hotel's manager. He shared his vision & passion for the hotel. Every day, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring an abundance of choices like chocolate-covered pancakes, yogurt with granola, fluffy omelets, and invigorating coco-leaf tea. Dinner was a culinary masterpiece, rivaling that of renowned five-star establishments, yet without exorbitant prices. The staff's attentiveness surpassed all expectations, showering us with pampering that was fit for esteemed guests.

The hotel is still in constructions.
I arrived to a room that was full with hair (not mine of course). In the bathroom and when I took off the blanket, more hair was waiting for me.
My room was in the ground floor (there is only ground floor and 1st floor). One window was a headed to the public space, and the other window was headed to a passage in the garden that was higher than the room. Therefore, everyone that pass by could see everything in the room. I am not a shay person, but the sensation that everyone that pass by have a full vicinity to the room is far from being a nice sensation.
On top, the service was ridiculous and annoying. One need to committee to a certain time of breakfast and if you are late they come to your room, knock your door and ask you to head for breakfast…?!
Furthermore, although I stayed at ‘winter’ time, the room was extremely hot (due to the unique architecture that capture the heat of the day. And when window is opened, a stream of mosquitoes get into the warm and lighted room as there is both forest and standing water in the vicinity...
Read moreI stayed at this place for its obvious beautiful aesthetics.
Pros: it’s gorgeous and quiet!
The rooms are also beautiful and the beds are comfy and warm. I slept like a baby.
The wifi works amazing! I had no issues with working from here.
They offer free breakfast and it was good 👍
Cons: the room is cold and the heater did not work.
You can eat at the hotel but the food is over priced and there are no veggie options. I asked if could order food from outside since I couldn’t eat anything off the menu and they said no :(
The curtains didn’t close fully so if you’re someone who needs to sleep in total darkness be mindful of this. (Not sure if this applies to just the room I stayed in)
The electrical plugs work but anything I plugged would fit very loosely and kept falling.
The pool is not heated so if it’s cold out, the water will be cold
And lastly, the shower: the hot water only lasted like 2 minutes 😭
I don’t think I would stay here again but did enjoy...
