I’ve only stayed a night so far and I can say that this place is incredible. The staff is wonderful and so helpful - before and during my time here the Claire answered all of my many questions and concerns. The rest of the staff and owner, Heidi, were so friendly and helpful as well.
Location is great very walkable as it’s a small town. you can rent a mask and snorkel here for 100 pesos full day breakfast is fantastic - you get to pick the kind of omelette you want and all are made by Claire! coffee water and tea all day for free they can organize tricycles and motorcycle rides for you lockers available they organize family meals for 350 pesos were you get a bottomless feast and can eat like a local
The only downside is that it gets very warm in the rooms even at night (they do provide fans so it’s ok - but because it’s so hot it would be better to have a small wall mounted fan for EACH bed) and there is only one bathroom and shower (but not many beds, so it was never an issue and they were always clean)! Read moreAwesome place, great people, delicious breakfast. We stayed in the private room with Aircon and then liked it so much, that we extended our stay. Because the room was full, we moved to the 6 bed dorm with aircon. Everybody was super nice, kept the place clean and especially at night it was super calm. I think I've never been to such a great dorm! When we left the owner Jaidee invited us to come back for their anniversary party and because we liked the place so much, we did! I can recommend this place for all the travellers because of the cleanliness, free water, coffee, tea, yummy breakfast, cheap happy hour, helpful staff and great atmosphere. Also they have a cute hostel dog and the price is great value for the Philippines. Thank you and see...
Read moreWe had originally planned to stay for the weekend, however we extended for the rest of the week at Island girl because it was perfect. Our group stayed in the 6 bed dorm which has air-con and a private attached shower and toilet. The staff were amazing, the owners Michael and Jaidee couldn’t be more helpful, they had great suggestions for our stay in Moalboal. Our favourite was the sunset yoga! The food was incredible, with a great selection for the free breakfast and evening meals that changed daily. The hostel also has happy hour from 5-8 with 241 drinks! We took part in a boodle fight, definitely recommend! Thank you Clare and Vilma for your hospitality! Would recommend this hostel to anyone planning on staying...
