Secret Paradise — Hotel in Cebu

True oasis, we stayed there for 2 weeks in may. I think this is the best in Moalboal. We had a list of hotels and i am glad we chose this one. During our stay we visited all the other hotels that we were considering and this is the most beautiful, clean, gives a Maldive vibe. The room was very nice and large, staff very nice and helpful, we rented the motorbyke from the hotel. I think the only downside is that it doesn t have sea view or breakfast included, oh and paved road. But we were not bothered, the pool and landscaping is just too beautiful, very green, could not get enough watching all those palm trees, comfi sunloungers, relaxing music... There are many places to eat just a few minutes away. We had food from their restaurant, good dinner, poor breakfast. For breakfast we were going mainly to smooth cafe or in the market on...

I live in Moalboal, so I didn’t stay overnight at the resort. But I went there to use the swimming pool and enjoy some food and drinks, and I was really impressed. The swimming pool is clean and perfect for a relaxing dip. The restaurant has tasty food with plenty of options, and they have a great selection of drinks, both with and without alcohol.

I didn’t stay in the rooms, but I took a look at them, and they’re really nice. The rooms are big, clean, and nicely decorated, with all the modern amenities you’d need. The prices for the rooms are fair for what you get. The staff are friendly and make sure you feel welcome. Even though I didn’t stay overnight, my visit was fantastic. We didn't have the best stay in this hotel. Fair warning when you arrive, they make you sign a long disclaimer explaining all the things you would expect from a hotel of this standing they don't do. For instance, I asked for a baby cot when I booked, I got no answer whatsoever so I assumed it was OK. But then when we arrived I was told they received my email, they don't have a baby cot but they would charge me 900php per night for an extra bed! By staying 4 night I paid for the bed twice. Also, if you buy a bottle outside of the hotel and wish to drink it at the pool it's a 500php fee. And of course no card paiement, I mean in a restaurant it's acceptable. But in a fancy hotel, I...
