After reading great reviews of this place online, we booked for ‘Seaview room’ for three nights. After turning up at the resort, the staff walked us 50 metres down the road, down a strange alleyway (which didn’t have a gate that locked), and presented us with the ‘seaview room’. Don’t get me wrong, the room had a sea view, however everything else about it was not as described or anything like the pictures when you book. It was basically a shack with one tiny fan and a ‘bathroom’ which was not a proper bathroom attached. The walls were basically plywood and it felt dirty and insecure. After asking to be moved and after a lot of negotiation, which basically involved we ended up staying one night in their dorm room and two in the private double room with a shared bathroom (which is what the pictures online when you book are actually of, are very nice and good value). These are actually in the main building where you have breakfast and have direct access down to the water where you can swim and see turtles, fish etc. Although we didn’t actually receive the price difference back. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, however the manager who seems to be on the phone to them the whole time appears to be the one who makes life difficult for them by continuing to advertise this room online. This whole experience was especially frustrating, as we had had a long day travelling, and other resorts were all booked up so we didn’t have a choice of moving. Bottom line, stay at this hotel, just make sure you don’t book the...

Renting a room (quadruple room) out when they should not anymore is just pure evil. My siblings and I looked forward to this trip for 2 years now since my bro barely visits the PH. It was heartbreaking. No maintenance or maybe it was vacant for sometime now? The room was dusty. I am still suffering from rhinitis to date. The ceiling was also very dusty and it seemed like it's about to fall off anytime. We were bitten by a lot of bed bugs too. The bathroom seemed like it was not cleaned as well. The dipper was all slimy like algae was about to grow. There was no sink for washing face or brushing teeth or just for washing cups. The fact that it is non-refundable is really unfair too. You have no choice but to upgrade to a better unit (bungalow unit) which was very pricey. We did it anyway rather than being a treat to the bed bugs. The bungalow unit was great; however, the room was lacking water heater for drinking. We were fine with buying it esp. after our swims but no one was available. The bungalow unit's toilet water pressure was low. It did not flush well a few times. We had to borrow a pale and dipper though we were fine with that too. Overall, we had extreme disappointment with the quadruple room. It was not as advertised. The photos posted on different booking apps should be updated already to set proper...

DO NOT stay at this hotel! You may see some good reviews here and there but I wouldn’t waste your time! The people who work here are lovely but the room on the other hand was disgusting! It felt like a prison cell.||We arrived at 7pm and had to wait to check in for 30 mins which is unusual firstly. You should be able to check in straight away. Then we had to walk 3 minutes down the road away from the resort to a separate building. It didn’t look great from the off but I will say the view overlooking the beach was nice!||The lady who took us to our room showed us to the wrong room and opened the door. We found other guests belongings (someone else was already staying in there!) so we had to go to another room. The 2nd room they took us to was dreadful. It looked like a prison cell. It hadn’t been cleaned properly and it really needed some DIY. There were holes everywhere. A cockroach ran out from under the bed as we walked in and the woman who showed us to our room took her flip flop off and bashed it in front of us. After 5 minutes of them leaving we’d been bitten to death so we decided to refund and find somewhere else. In all fairness to the people, they helped us find another accommodation but it shouldn’t have been that way.||I really don’t recommend! If you have to listen to any review, listen...

Just make sure you book the waterfront bungalow to get the best experience. It is absolutely worth it. There's only 1 waterfront bungalow and a tiny bamboo/wooden hut in this section. The rest of the rooms are further away and not in the same area. So make sure to book early and make sure to get the correct room. The interior is very basic. The bathroom is basic. There's a huge fridge and water dispenser in the room. WIFI only works like 40% during my 3 nights there. No TV in the room but you don't need that with the sea just right in front of you. Aircond is cold. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Annabelle, Eve and Emily. I even went sea urchin hunting with Eve. Thank you. We had their silog meals and it's good and absolutely worth it. The breakfast set comes with a drink. They have barbecue towards the evening. I think they serve the best mango smoothie in Moalboal. Might be slightly expensive compare to others but it's worth it. It is quite a distance to the hustle and bustle of Moalboal so expect to walk about 10 mins. Good thing is it's quiet and by the waters. You can spot turtles and just to the sardine run on your own from here. These ppl are cheaters. Booking was made for the offered 'Pescador view beach " property. Actually I was put into an 'extension' room in a dilapidated cell inside the barangay. The only 'view' here is a twin shoddy cottage. There was nothing about 'extension' in the offer. The room badly needs renovation. No toiletries, no tissue, no drinking water, no kettle, not even empty cups or glasses. If you want to make harm to your enemy - advise him to book Pescador View so called 'Beach resort'. Upd: I'm now fighting with the booking agency customer support for a refund. They contacted the hotel, and got a response that I was assigned a different room, and 'compensated with toiletries '. In fact, they only gave us a rice cooker so that we needn't go to the hotel from our remote location to get warm water each time. I checked the booking info: I was to get a 25m² room, and this one is about 10 only. To say nothing of the absence of any 'beach' and 'landmark view'. So their business is luring ppl with 'beachfront' and 'landmark view' promises and putting them into different low quality housing inside the barangay. Staff most unfriendly and rude. The owner is 'in Germany's - you will not be able to talk to him.
