Pearl Vista Hotel Coron â A Must-Stay for an Amazing Vacation!
I had an amazing stay at Pearl Vista Hotel in Coron! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles from the receptionists, who were very well-trained and professional. They were always polite, well-mannered, and ready to assist us with anything we needed. Honestly, this is the best hotel service Iâve ever experienced on a holidayâkudos to their entire team!
đ¨ The Hotel & Rooms
The hotel itself is beautiful, and we were impressed with how well-maintained everything was. Even though we only booked an economy room, it was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was conveniently close to our area. Some reviews mention wanting bigger rooms, but personally, I think itâs unnecessary. The best way to enjoy Coron is by the pool, on island tours, or exploring the townâthe room is just for resting!
The room service was excellentâevery morning, the staff would ask if we needed anything, and everyone greeted us with a friendly âGood morning!â It really made us feel welcomed and valued.
đ˝ď¸ Food & Dining
The food was amazing! We booked a room with a breakfast buffet, and it was really affordable. The hotel ensures that all food is hot and well-covered to maintain cleanliness. Everything tasted fresh, and there was a good variety of options.
đ Pool & Amenities
The swimming pool was a great place to relax, and the hotel provides free towels for both the pool and island tours if you book through them. Another great feature is the free drinking water station, so you donât have to keep buying bottled water.
đĄď¸ Security & Convenience
Security is top-notch here! The security guard records all incoming and outgoing guests, ensuring that everyone is safe. This level of attention really impressed me.
As for location, transportation is easyâtricycles outside charge only âą30 per person, and it takes just 10 minutes to get to town. You can even walk there in about 20 minutes, which I did on my first day to explore the area.
â Final Thoughts
Pearl Vista Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! From the exceptional service to the clean and comfortable accommodations, everything was perfect. If you're looking for a place to stay in Coron, I highly recommend this hotel. Itâs worth every peso!
Would I stay here again?...
Read moreWe got a room at the ground floor for 4 pax. It was a bit cramped because we had big luggage, but the 2 beds were big enough for 2 pax each. The room was clean when we arrived, however it tended to accumulate a musty smell overtime. The room's scent diffuser wasn't very effective & they couldn't refill it despite asking twice. The pillows had a bit of musty smell too. The room includes a safe, cabinet for clothes, a tv (no Netflix), table, 2 chairs, kettle, hairdryer, and instant 3-in-1 coffee. There was no mini fridge, which would have been helpful. The bathroom had free liquid body wash and shampoo but the dispensers had no label so we were confused and had to ask reception (who didn't seem to know either). There provided bath towels, solid bar soaps and toothbrushes. There was a ladder-like drying rack at the balcony which was useful. Sometimes the receptionst on duty lacked important information about the town and facilities, which was disappointing, but they were able to help us in looking for a tour package and tricycle transpo around town. The shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient and value for money. The breakfast options were limited and the food quality was not so great, but we can't complain because the stay per night is relatively cheap. Their massage service was not good. The two masseuse assigned to us were either sleepy or sick, and they laughed & engaged in conversation during the session which was bothersome. The massage didn't relax me or addressed my pains. Maybe the attendants were already tired during our session because it was already 9:30 in the evening? Overall, Pearl Vista is a good option if you're after value for money. Otherwise, I suggest looking for other hotels and paying more for better services...
Read moreWe booked an Economy Room at the Pearl Vista Hotel. We realized we had made a huge mistake upon arrival: we didnât pay attention when booking, economy room means sharing bathroom with another room. Doesnât sound too bad.
Hereâs what the hotel doesnât tell you beforehand: Upsells are not permissible, you will have to rebook another room if you want to upgrade Hotel director / Hotel policies are not accommodating at all Youâre sharing a wet bathroom, thereâs no separation between toilet and shower, the whole bathroom gets wet after showering Bathroom smells like sewer Thereâs mold on so many things in the bathroom: window curtain, soap holder, flooring, walls Problem with the door keys No mobile data with very low WiFi signal when in the room Squeaking bed Yellow tap water that also stays yellow
With the bad comes the good, here are the pros of this hotel: Staff, from reception to security guards are all very nice and helpful You get greated with a refreshing and sweet juice at your arrival Amenities (pool area, restaurant) are in great shape, the hotel is overall nice on the outside
Apparence-wise, it might look okay, but what lies underneath is a whole other story. Such a shame itâs a complete mess once you get into the rooms.
All in all, I donât think itâs worth the 60⏠we paid per night. Youâd be better off renting out another room...
