Purple homestay is a hidden gem in a tropical hilltop oasis ~"a home away from home.."

Traveling solo, I was blessed by the genuine care and valuable advice prior and during my stay in Coron as Janice, the owner, kept in communication with me throughout and even went above and beyond to reassure my safety in fulfilling my vacation wishes for a more local experience by help coordinating time with her trusted friend, Judy, who brought me to an amazing fishing village where I connected to a few locals and was immersed in their, culture, life, activities and livelihood.

My time at her homestay was serene and picturesque as the dining and seating area overlooks Coron town with a beautiful backdrop of the famous mount Tapyas. The open spaces to the outdoors plus native material incorporated in some areas of the home and the tropical plants and wildlife life such as the birds, butterflies, etc also enhanced the natural ambience.

Lynne, Neng and Sole, who made time for me, were such angels. They treated me with sincere care and were very attentive. I enjoyed conversing with them like family.

My family and I booked the entire place through Airbnb and we had such an amazing, comfortable, and joyful stay! The hosts were very quick to respond and accommodating with all our requests. They were also very proactive with recommending the best choices on how we could enjoy our stay in Palawan and surely, with their help, we did! There were locals who welcomed us and helped us throughout our entire stay. They were very kind and hospitable! From our food to our transportation and tour itineraries, they were always very glad to help and make the arrangements for us! They made sure that the place was always clean and polished. It was so convenient to have them welcome and assist us. Everything was such a breeze! For that, we are very grateful. The fast wifi was a good bonus but with the amazing view from Purple Homestay, it was so easy to disconnect and just enjoy every minute of being surrounded by nature. The place is spotlessly clean, and the ambiance is so calming—it’s the perfect balance of relaxation and productivity. The view is absolutely breathtaking,i am able to work while soaking it all in. On top of that, it’s very accessible to various food joints and bars, making it super convenient to explore the local flavors and nightlife 🤭.It was highly appreciated as well that the tours and activities was only one call away.and just like that they have it all set for you.It was so convenient and stress-free!
