HOTEL Monde — Hotel in Dagupan

Starting with the positive. Check in and check out was easy. They offer shampoo soap and a teeth cleaningkit. There was also a fridge. U need to turn it on and increase the power level. It takes long to cool. There was a TV we didn't use it and also the wifi wasn't clear to use. There is a qr code for scanning to connect. The bed was clean and also the AC worked. You get towels included.

Now to the overwhelming bad things. Price is doubled from the online and it is not worth it. Room's not clean. They never cleaned the dust on cupboards or other furniture. Water damage on Every ceiling. It seems like the hotel has seen it's best times. The bed was not comfortable. As a blanket u get a thin towel.

The worst thing was the bathroom. The toilet was leaking. Everything was dirty and it has an unhygienic touch to it. The shower was the worst thing. Don't look at it too close. We shouldn't start with the smell in there that's why the windows was probably open when we arrived. Can't recommend. The focus was more on girly deco then on cleaning...

Hotel Monde is located at the downtown area. It is right before you cross the bridge and almost opposite to Star Plaza. Room rate is really affordable for less than $20 a night. Has ample parking space on a nearby street.||Was worried of running into a "motel-ish" establishment and crowd but didn't have that vibe.||The place is really nice. The hotel is tastefully designed. Not posh but you know there's thought given to the details especially the reception/living area.||Staff is friendly. They are willing to do your errands as there's no nearby store.||The rooms are wonderfully designed as well especially the bright-colored furnitures although there are some signs of wear and tear.||Water pressure is strong and the toilet is equipped with bidet. The roon we stayed in doesn't have a window and might be claustrophobic to some.||Doesn't have a reliable wifi though better to lounge in the living room area if you need to send emails.||Perfect for out-of-towners or if you're just passing by Dagupan and looking for a place to...
