Coconut Home - Bungalows — Hotel in General Luna

Coconut Home was our home for 10 days in Siargao and it was the best stay we’ve had so far!! Room: I love the open-air bathroom and the spacious bedroom. 4 people can fit in here, there’s a spare mattress under the bed. There’s a mini fridge and free drinkable water— very convenient! The aircon was cold and saved us from the heat during daytime. Location: The area was safe and nestled away from the bustling Tourism road but not far enough to be inaccessible by foot or motorcycle. It was like a 2 minute walk from the main road and accessible to a lot of food and shops. Host: Tamara, the host, was also very accommodating and responsive. She checks up on us and makes sure we’re okay, and that we have everything we need. Wifi: They just installed Starlink Wifi! The connection is okay but if you’re looking into using cellular data, Smart is stronger in the area. Not full bars but LTE. Theres a small desk for those...

The Coconut Home is a pretty homey place in the quiet corner of General Luna but make no mistake about it, it is a fortress. It is tucked in in the alley about a minute walk from the main road of GL, very accessible to the popular coastal dining spots. The hosts were very accommodating, offering to help arrange rentals and tours for us. We shared meals together and they constantly looked out for us even after our stay.
