690(!)pesos for this tiny portion of only 4 ribs - which they call a āhalf slabā of 350g. Anyone thatās eaten ribs before knows that these 4 ribs are not worthy of being called a half slab. Perhaps it weighs 350g, but again should not be called a half slab. This is their largest portion, which they sell as a main course⦠The serving included a tiny portion of fries, and pickled veggies that were less than interesting. The ribs themselves were okay, they tasted good, lacked the wow factor though, not falling off the bone, and little meat - again not consistent with the price theyāre asking.
Mac and cheese, an extra side dish, was really good. The coleslaw was the opposite - heavy on the mayo, lacking in everything else - no freshness and no flavour.
We double checked the size of the portion twice, apparently they feel comfortable selling this as a half slab. Falls short and definitely not representative of the delicious food and generous service youāre accustomed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreamazing. we ate here in december 2024. we got the 450gm beef brisket, the smoked chicken leg, the smoked ribs (150gm) and a portion of mac & cheese and two cokes. the three mains came with a small portion of fries and pickled veg per each meat dish. it was slightly too much for two people but not by much. they do sharing platters as well but it seemed better value to order individually.
The brisket included both fatty point (including deckle) and also leaner flat cap... could be worth asking for the point if you're ordering the smaller 140gm portion. the fatty point is incredible.
they have a smokey bbq sauce for the brisket and chicken and a sweeter one for the ribs. there was a proper smokey taste off everything... notice the distinctive red smoke ring in one of my brisket pictures... everything was very tender. excellent work. the cost was 2778 pesos (ā¬45 or $47) and that included the 10% service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried the pulled pork with fries, Mac and cheese and the sisig bowl and it was delicious! The bbq sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy and the pulled pork was soft to perfection. The menu was a little confusing bc it states you receive 2pcs of bread and a choice of fries OR coleslaw so my boyfriend thought he would also receive bread which would have complimented the pulled pork. The Mac and cheese was also very good and definitely is a must try. I enjoyed my sisig bowl very much, it just had a lot of rice compared to the amount of protein you get. I could have had mine a little more crispier but thatās just my personal preference but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Also ordered a mango shake and calamansi lemonade and they were very delicious and refreshing. Overall, everything we ordered here was amazing and definitely...
