So i made a reservation for 3 nights in this resort through its fb page. Naturally, they gave me a better deal for the nipa room, which really made me happy as a guest.even let them arrange the van from the airport with the person i was chatting on fb.||On the day i arrive, the van picked me up.||But when i arrived at the resort, one of the staff was telling me there was no reservation made for me (she didnt even bother to ask for my name) and the hotel does not have a reception so she was talking to me in the middle of the pathways to the cottages.||Then when i showed her the conversation im having with whoever is handling the fb page, she told me that one of the guests on that room where i was supposed to stay at extended their stay, and they have people arriving so they have no room available for me.||I was clearly upset, hungry, tired and too stressed already by then and she ASKED me to call the owner on the phone number indicated on the fb page. So when i spoke to the owner she doesnt seem to have any idea about my reservation as well, said her daughter is responding on fb.||And she also mentioned that she's been writing to agoda that they would stop selling rooms since they are on renovation and no actual rooms available but agoda keeps on selling their property.||They were telling me to stay on the dormitory for the meantime but i was not happy about it as i was expecting the cottage. So they have to put me on another room that was intended to another guests and said i just have to move to the cottage the next day. Well too bad fot the other guys who will be inconvenieced to move to different hotel or stay in the dormitory. ||||The owner was of course trying to be helpful...but this experience did not gave me a good start to my weekend holiday.||Better go to other hotels even if they are slightly expensive than jadestar. A bad start is a bad start.. cannot be...
Read moreWhen on a budget it's fine to lower your expectation. Maybe the place isn't too nice or the service isn't too good. For jadestar neither is good. We arrived at 3pm on day 1 of 4. No one knew what to do with us because “mam” and “sir” were out. We were waiting for around an hour when we saw a van drive in. We thought it was the owners but no one came to us. We waited some more until someone from the workers said “mam” is here. When we went over we saw it was the same people from the van who couldn't be bothered to welcome the waiting guests. This is just the beginning. The pictures adverised are far from reality. None of the rooms face the beach. That's minor compared to the sour faces of the owners who seem unhappy that we booked via agoda. During our stay they twice put out the electricity on us without checking if we were in the room. There are other bad details but long story short this was...
Read moreThis place is near the market (3-5 minutes motorcycle ride). It's recommended if you want a peaceful and quiet stay since it's 10-15mins away from Cloud 9. The resort is beach front. The beach is calm and the sand is nice. They offer rooms with aircon or you can stay in a nipa hut. The price is reasonable but don't expect anything fancy since this is a budget-friendly resort. We got the room for P1,300 good for 6 persons. You can actually rent a boat here and avail of the island tour (Naked island, Dako, and Guyam island or the sohoton tour) and the boat will pick you up and drop you off in the...
