My wife and I stayed at Greenleaf for 6 days, and our experience was terrific. First, the service. The crew was spot on, from exchanging emails months before our booking to in-person service. They were very helpful and knowledgeable when we had questions and concerns. The security guards, Front desks, Concierges, servers, and housekeepers were welcoming. Even the supervisor we saw at the SM parking lot greeted me. That's just above and beyond!

Secondly, the room. We booked the deluxe room with two beds. It's cozy and more than enough for us because we leave the hotel almost daily. The first time we got in, there was a weird smell, like clothes that didn't dry properly, if you know what I mean. It was gone after a few hours though.

One thing that I noticed, which is not a deal breaker and something they can look at, is the shower door seal. Every time we finish showering, water spills into the toilet/sink area from the shower room. Maybe it's because of how we shower, lol, but we always had to wipe the floor with towels. Fixing the door seals will solve the issue.

Lastly, location, location, location. There have been new hotels in Gensan since I left, but personally, Greenleaf picked a prime location, which made it easier for customers to access places around the hotel, such as restaurants, malls, and other go-to places in Gensan.

Here are some minor things that they could improve on.

Gym facility I like working out and using gym equipment, even just the regular hotel gym stuff, but it was so small when I checked the gym area. I had to go to the gym outside the hotel to sign up for a few days. I remember they used to have a gym facility close to the pool. Hopefully, they will put it back there again.

Parking spot During our visit, many events happened, and one of them was a wedding or a prom. Anyway, we were going to park in the designated parking, but there was a sign that said "Parking is Full." We tried the other parking near their main entrance, but it was the same. The security guard told us to park at the mall, which is odd, considering we checked in at the hotel. I understand that it's a business, and accommodating potential customers is important, but guests who have paid for their stay also paid for convenience and accessibility, which should have been prioritized.

The staff are all friendly and accommodating, especially Rex Anting, who has been consistently assisting us every time we check in. He’s professional, courteous, and genuinely makes our stay extra smooth every single time.

One of the things I love most is how clean and fresh-smelling their washrooms are. That’s super important for me. Their food is consistently amazing, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or cocktails at night. And major plus, the staff are so attentive. You don’t even have to ask for a water refill, they just know. There’s always a waiter on standby, ready to assist with a smile, which shows how well-trained and guest-focused they are.

Rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the wifi is fast, perfect for both work and relaxation. The location is also a big win. It’s just walking distance to the mall, gym, and there’s even a car wash right in front for extra convenience. Everything you need is literally a few steps away.

And oh my gosh, the cakes! Their cheesecakes are divine, and their cocktails are delicious yet budget-friendly. You get the flavor and the buzz without breaking your wallet.

If you’re in GenSan and just want to chill with your family, I highly recommend getting their Club Heneral membership. It’s absolutely worth it, especially if you’re assisted by Rex Anting, who goes above and beyond to make the whole experience even more special. His service really makes a difference.
