The hotel staff was the epitome of Filipino warmth and hospitality, with special shoutouts to Cassy and Mary Ann who greeted us with beaming smiles and made our check-in process smoother than ever. Not only was it fast, but it was hitech too - a perfect blend of traditional service with modern convenience. And also to Joy and the team for granting us a very late checkout time.

Read moreone of the most expensive hotels in gensan, yet sadly, it does not provide the level of service you would expect for the price. we had high expectations since a one-night stay costs quite a lot, but unfortunately, our experience fell short.
here’s what we didn’t like about our stay: the rooms are not soundproof. i could clearly hear the occupants in the next room talking in the middle of the night, making it impossible for me to get a good night’s rest. on top of that, i could also hear the blasting tv from the other room.
the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food choices. however, the food was cold because they didn’t have food warmers! it was completely unappetizing, and i don’t think i even got half the value of what we paid for - especially considering how expensive it was.
there were no visible written house rules regarding the use of the pool. we were about to take a dip with our baby but immediately backed out after witnessing a teenager seemingly peeing in the adult pool. the lifeguard or pool attendant, who was present, did nothing about it. it seemed like it wasn’t a concern to them.
the front desk staff was kind enough to mention that she had chosen one of the best rooms for us with a great view. however, when we got to our room, the view was terrible - we were facing a rooftop near the cooling tower, filled with garbage and plastic waste. it was far from what we were promised.
while using the elevator, it suddenly shut off for a few minutes, making our experience even worse. we had our baby with us, and i almost panicked at the thought of such an unfortunate accident happening. thankfully, the elevator turned back on, and we hurried out because we were so scared! the only response from the hotel was a call to our room, asking if we were okay and “not too shaken” (verbatim). seriously?
the only positive aspect of our stay was that they kindly provided a free cot for our baby. for that, we...

Room: The room we stayed at has two beds and were spacious and clean. I love the hotel’s interior because everything look so clean, luxurious, and well-maintained. We could see the pool from our room and they played music — it was a bit loud but they turned it off at around 8 or 9pm.
Breakfast buffet: was good with many options (I like how they had like a ramen station and an egg station). From what I remember they had like typical filipino breakfast with rice, cornbeef, fish, etc. But didn’t see much vegetarian options.
Staffs: The staffs were nice especially the front desk staff. We were able to have them keep our stuff since we arrived early from the airport.
Restaurant: Had their own restaurant and it was really good. A bit pricey but it is a restaurant so it’s understandable. Portion size weren’t too small either, just enough.
Pool: Played really good music (I need their playlist ASAP) and the pool was clean. It was not heated but it’s okay since it was warm outside (even at night). I think the pool is below 5 feet or even lower. They also have a kid-friendly pool. They also had a nice looking bar by the pool where you can order alcoholic drinks and I think other food as well. Plenty enough chairs and table where you can relax and/or put your stuff. The staff who greeted us gave us pool towels so no need to bring one. They also had showers which is convenient if you want to directly shower after swimming.
Location: Good location; The closest mall was Robinsons if you just want to walk. There were also tricycles nearby Robinsons if you don’t have a car or don’t want to...
