Tong Yang Shabu-shabu — Restaurant in General Santos

I had a really terrible experience at this restaurant. The customer service was very poor—staff were unaccommodating and seemed uninterested in helping at all. The place itself felt run-down and dirty. It was dark inside, the plates didn’t even look clean, and the overall setup was far from inviting.

We came past 8pm for our dinner. We travelled from Koronadal City to SM Gensan after 7pm. Good thing we were given enough time to choose all the food we wanted to cook before the counters were closed. We've had more than enough to grill or boil. It was a happy experience for all of us since it's our Christmas party of sorts.

Food is great. Typical shabu shabu resto. Best deal for your money. Only that during lunch, you have to sometimes wait because people tend to flock in there. Also, could make use of some improvements in the ambiance of the place. Place feels dark. Restrooms inside has long queues, so better to go inside the mall for your necessities.
