Phela Grande Hotel — Hotel in General Santos

Rooms are old but still clean and well maintained. Doors are manually opened using a traditional key with additional locks inside for safety. Bed foam are stiff, and aircon noise is noticeable (window type). Wifi speed is below average. Bed sizes for me as a filipino size (165cm) are adequate. The restroom is clean but had some stains specifically on the drain hole, maybe due to normal wear and tear, i guess. Mirrors are clean, and the sink is functional and has no leaks. There are some amenities like tv, wifi, heater, glass, shampoos, body soap, hot and cold shower. With free towels and rag inside the bathroom. I haven't noticed any unpleasant smell in the room and in the bathroom. There are power outlets and cabinets with a hanger for convenience. There is a safety box, but it's broken. The location ia great The rooms are clean, comfty and cozy. However, there some area nor points to improve: Shower : too slow and not balance the hot and cold. Because of the malfunctioned switch (need to replace). No videa No other outlet provided, you need request for extension to be used. Poor Wifi inside the room (201)

The services:

1.Chambermaid are very slow to give your request. It took more an hour and 20mins before they grant (i.e. pale, deeper, extension cord) Room service not serve the food fresh (hot). Its not also ampetizing to eat. You need to follow up again,again and again to deliver your food. Front office are good listener. But, need to be more pro active in terms of suggestions(where to go, offered services, etc)

If you will ask me if i will check in again, on the future?. Maybe yes, because accesibility...

The building is old yet the service and people was the best.||Staffs were accommodating and helpful.||Hotel offers complimentary breakfast and welcome drinks.||They provide shampoo, soap, lotion, toothbrush, vanity kit, extra plastic and slippers. They also provide special request like hair dryers and hangers. Suite room has bath gel and bath tub.||The room has coffee in sachet. It has kettle, cup and glass. The suite room has refrigerator while the single room do not have fridge.
