CookPub - Cebu Mactan 쿡펍 막탄점 — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

We've been frequenting this place for a while because of the good food and great service. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with warm smiles and a choir of welcome. Good implementation of COVID protocols too.

Food here is excellent and the primary reason we tried it out the first time. Their spicy pork is a must try and definitely the best dish we've had. Although the spicy ramen can still be improved, the complimentary korean pancakes are exquisite and the refillable kimchi is a plus.

Staff are quite friendly, some are bugoy but not in an unprofessional manner, and the service fee that comes with the tab is more than worth it. With an elevated tv and music all round, this is a place more to enjoy your time than have a peaceful meal. Music isn't always k-pop, just so you know. There's also k-drama. :D

Side-note: restroom is top notch and well provisioned (which personally is always a crucial consideration for me).

Highly recommended and will come back again and again. Staff will definitely recognize you the third time onwards....

Ordered takeaway from here with my wife. The prawns were delicious and plenty for the price. The burger wasn't the best one I've had, but still very nice, they even took my special request and made it spicy! :). The dressing was a little bit watery and made the burger drip a lot while eating. The beef patty in the burger was pretty basic ground beef. Overall a good experience, I wouldn't maybe recommend the burger, but would definitely recommend the shrimps. Maybe include bacon in the burger or use more tangy mayo sauce on it or add some cheese to it. Ube cake was delicious, but a bit overpriced for one slice. I'd rate this place 4 out of 5 stars, definitely gonna try it again someday with different dishes. Extra mention for the kind staff including a nice note on...

This place is a standout among all other Korean restaurants. Our go-to food spot whenever we have a hankering for K-cuisine but couldn't be bothered to do all the grills and other frills.

The food is excellent particularly the savory pancake and soup that comes with every order. I hope to come back for more and explore other options in the menu. We tend to order the same thing, just because we love it! Lol

Another aspect worth noting is their level of service. It's A+! The staff are warm and welcoming, always attentive to your needs and will serve you with a smile. That says a lot about the restaurant and ultimately about your dining experience.
