I enjoyed a noon lunch with an amazing view of Cebu from the table. The host/waiter was very welcoming and greeted me with a friendly smile as I stepped out of the elevator. She was very engaging when I was seated, and we had a chance to chat for a few minutes. She is a great ambassador for the restaurant.
The food was delicious. I had the peppered pork chop, which was recommended to me by the waiter. The presentation on the plate was excellent. The vegetables and mashed potatoes could have been a little warmer to my liking, but in fairness, they may have cooled a little while I took a few minutes before I began eating. I liked that my meal and my guest's meal were brought to the table at the same time. The prices were reasonable, and the quality and quantity of food were satisfactory.
The atmosphere was very good because of the view and no other guests. At times, the noise of the basketball game on the adjoining bar television could be heard in the dining area. There appeared to be a staff person first eating lunch and then doing some paperwork on the table behind me. For a short time, I heard some distracting noise from videos he may have been playing on his phone.
I submitted a correct phone number as a suggested edit to the Google Maps listing. I found out I didn't get a response from my online reservation request at the restaurant website because it is not currently being monitored. The two phone numbers listed on the website are not correct either at this time.
The view would be enhanced if the windows received a thorough cleaning. When I took some photos, I noticed water spots on the window glass that distracted from the view.
Overall, I rated the restaurant 5 stars primarily because of the atmosphere and view, the friendly host/waiter, and the taste of the food. I would consider returning again in the evening to see the Cebu City...
Read moreWe ordered their signature pizza, 1 order of ribs, nachos, fresh mango shake and fresh calamansi juice. Our bill amounted to Php 1800 and I couldnt be more disappointed.
First the pizza crust was burnt, even if I have a preference for that, I get the impression it is reheated because it tasted stale. My husband and I only ate a slice each and barely could finish it.
The ribs and nachos were both good and satsifying which I thought I might get my money's worth til I tasted the drinks too which was terrible. I understand this ain't their bestseller but how can fresh calamnsi juice taste bad? And my mango tasted like melted ice. We asked for sugar both because it tasted really bland.
Now if you're still reading this, i'm not done. I wouldve given 3 stars if their customer service was good but I noticed really something creepy. One of the male food attendant kept on looking out to an all foreign girls table. At first I thought it was to address their needs but since it was right in front of me, I really noticed him eyeing and literally standing next to their table frequently. Occassionally making small talks. As a woman, I honestly felt unsafe, even one of the girls turned their seat to the sky deck just to face the opposite view.
I understand that they offer bottled water because most are foreign, I just don't like it if I'm not informed and i'm charged Php 60 per bottle of 250 mL.
Funny how the men food attendants were very pleasant to the other foreign customers, asking about their hotel and plans for that night, which I really don't mind but when we were ordering, he was leaving before we could even finish our order and even saying "ay meron pa?"
If you still want to check it out, get the ribs and nachos and enjoy the skyline. Otherwise, dont have high expectations and prepare to spend even for...
Read moreA very disappointing experience. We came here to have a special time to celebrate our brothers birthday. After we sat down a server did not come to greet us for over 10 minutes. We ordered daiquiri's for everyone and they were all watered down as the ice melted. Then we ordered the Spanish style squid and a double Margherita pizza to start. The squid was tasty, but the portion size was more tomatoes than anything else. The pizza was undercooked and tasted very doughy. After that we tried to order several items but were told they were unavailable. The salmon, the soup, the Shanghai lumpia, the crispy pata were all unavailable. So we ordered the baby back ribs, and truffle carbonara. The carbonara was the best thing we had. The ribs were tough and very bland. No flavor. Throughout our meal it was very difficult to get a server to help us. In fact a few times we cleared our own dirty plates and brought them to the counter. The plates in this picture sat empty for 20 minutes without a waiter coming by. When I visited the bathroom, a cook went into the bathroom after me. While I was washing my hands at the sink, he didn't wait to wash his hands. I watched him go right back into the kitchen and start handling food immediately. This is not only gross, but completely unprofessional. Many of the help seemed to not care about the customers. I saw them in their phones and many of them all sitting at tables in a side room just socializing. It is a shame because this restaurant does have very nice views from the rooftop, however aside from that everything else was poor. I would not recommend anyone try this place until management decides to put a priority on giving the customer a...
