OYO 725 Richdel Resort Hotel — Hotel in Lapu-Lapu

My travel purpose is diving only and I don't have high requirement for the hotel (I only need somewhere to sleep and take shower). When I saw this hotel's picture, I thought that's the one I was looking for. So I took a 3-night booking for this hotel.||||On the travel day, I found out the serious water dripping problem of air-conditioner after I checked-in at Room 5. The male staff in reception said that he would find someone to fix it at tomorrow noon. Around 1 AM, there was terrible cock-crowing problem. I told the receptionist again and he promised to help change room in the next day. And all those problems still went on til the morning. I couldn't ever sleep.||||Then I ate breakfast in the hotel lobby. Took order of sausage set but I got the breakfast set with ham in fully oil. After breakfast, I asked the female receptionist about changing room. She obviously wanted to ignore me. Only replied "no charging room" and her face turned to another side. ||||After diving, there was almost 5 PM and I returned to hotel. The air-conditioner was still not fixed. All those things drove me crazy. So I booked another hotel immediately, packed my own stuff and...

Upon booking in this hotel seemed very nice, clean and well laid out. The staff were very nice, Angie, Rayna and Lynlyn lovely girls and most helpful. Pool was great and plenty of sun loungers available, breakfast was either rice or bread, corned beef or ham or egg and coffee or soft drink, no other options available. The bar had no tonic water on beer in stock. Decent measures given though. Lots to do very nearby, karaoke, bars, restaurants massage all with walking distance and a Save More and market one trike ride away. However on our last night a lot of Koreans turned up and where very noisy, shouting to each other, swimming while slapping both legs down into the water making a thudding noise, cooking outside and drinking all this at 2am and eventually we packed up and left as we couldn't sleep. You couldn't complain as Filipino's are scared of Koreans and even the guard didn't want to know. Shame really as we were enjoying this hotel but doubt we would go back after what happened. Wi-Fi was available only in reception area...

Terrible, below one star if I could... tried to take a shower and there is no pressure, It's like trying to take a shower in a light rain, put a bar of soap in there. The air conditioner is like a tractor. The walls are made of paper you can hear anyone walking down the stairs or upstairs or closing their door. For a place that opened in February 2017 they really don't take care of the place. NO hand soap (Even the cheapest kind You can imagine it would be okay). The bed sheets first were white and had some stains on them, asked to change them and again to white sheets and I saw some oil stains had to change them again and this time they put colored sheets and they were okay from what I could tell. Their laundry detergent has an intoxicating smell whereby it was difficult to fall asleep because the smell was just overwhelming of detergent. To make things short, if you love yourself or if you love a family member, do not let them come here unless you are trying to get back at them for something they did wrong or...
