Cheava Spa Mactan — Local services in Lapu-Lapu

Very nice place, clean, nice staff and great massage therapists that will be able to cater to your needs. I went here 3 times in our short one week stay at Mactan Island. Besides the 2nd visit which two customers in the adjacent room were so loud and obnoxious,talking, laughing and … the massage was good, so i am deducting one star due to this, which i blame the staff at the sauna for not telling the customers to be quiet. After 30 minutes, i finally told my therapist to please go and tell them to be quiet. She did go to the next room and tell them to keep their voice down, but unfortunately that did not help. When my massage was finished, I told the staff at the receptionist desk about the incident and they were very nice and apologetic about it. Perhaps since the reception area is on a different floor than the massage rooms, they could not hear the loud talking of the customers, but their therapists should have told them to be quiet, which not only they did not, they also were talking to them and encouraging the conversation. Otherwise, place is beautiful, massage tables are great, and the other 2 times i went there,...

Wow. The experience was simply amazing. I got one of their packages, a 60-minute body & 30-min foot massage for 1100 pesos. Every moment felt like you're the only customer in the building. I think the friendly staff wear earpieces and they communicate with each other about your movements. The building has a few floors and I was greeted at each floor as I walked up to the massage room, and again as I left.

The massage itself was also fantastic. Good pressure with some stretching. It's designed to be more of a relaxing massage rather than a Thai massage. They each have their own pros and cons, but definitely come here if you want to de-stress.

The building decor was just right. The lighting & background music puts you in the right mood. I visited by myself, but recommended it to my partner who visited the next day. She mentioned there were a couple of noisy customers who came in as her massage finished up. I'm not sure if the rooms are walled-off with sound dampeners, but that could be a nice addition.

a very unpleasant experience. I asked for a facial massage and my husband a relaxation massage. they put us in the same room, and for the facial massage it seems that they needed machines that made noise, intense light... which didn't really lead to relaxation my husband asked to be moved to another room considering that there was noise from the machines with which I was given the "facial massage", which was actually not a massage at all, maximum 10 minutes... for the rest: she put the cream, wiped it, another cream, and wiped my face... and then a mask was put on me and I stayed with it for 10-15 minutes, during which the therapist actually left the room and I waited for her to remove the mask and the so-called facial massage was ready... it was not relaxing at all, even boring... don't waste your time and money, there are better...
