MEACO HOTEL — Hotel in Legazpi

my getaway hotel (eme). i understand the negative reviews listed on this app but personally i think this hotel, for its price is alrdy a good catch.

i walked in on a friday at 5am wanting to get a solo room and thankfully they still have an available one. they dont have the fixed 12nn - 2pm times. instead they have either a 12/24hrs stay. yes they only have stairs up but the security guard would gladly help take your suitcase up to your room. the front desk personnel are also very accommodating despite the off hours that i came in.

the room is spacious, ac was working fine, hot shower was also working fine. i dont have any complaints at all.

theres no parking space since its situated at their main road but it is an advantage for commuters bc most jeepneys go through this route.

this hotel is also situated near robinsons mall, just a 3minute...

Seems online booking is cheaper compare to walk-in. Don't bring a huge suitcase because there's no elevator. Lobby is small and chairs are old. Dirty room. The towels aren't change and linens are very old. No slippers inside the room and the WIFI and TV wasn't working. AC took a lot of time to cool. Window opens to a view of a wall and it's hot so it's better to close it at all times. Water pressure is not good. Water in the shower area doesn't drain properly. No available toilet paper.

In front of a fast food that opens early morning. Easy access to tricycle terminal...

For a budget traveler like me, Id definitely give 5 stars to MEACO. The rate for a 12-hr stay (good for 2 persons, 1 bed) is 800 pesos and for 24 hours, it's 1000 pesos. The place is clean, the bed is big, the television and cable signal is very good. The wifi reception in the room is not strong, but i haven't tried it in the lobby. there's also a hot shower and the comfort room is really clean. also, there is an adjacent south star drug, LCC supermarket, and Graceland restaurant. It is also very accessible to the malls, government offices, airport, and public...
