This resort was reasonably priced and set on the beach. There was plenty of parking for our oversized 10 seater van, and the road wasn’t too narrow. The guard at the gate was also pretty friendly! It was easy to catch a trike if you needed to get somewhere else. The shower was ok, pretty standard. The bed though! Agh, it was so rocklike. I was woken at 4am by the roosters outside, and had trouble getting back to sleep. The curtains were nice and thick though, so that wasn’t really the problem. The air conditioner worked well, and we could turn it off when we got too cold. Although I didn’t use the balcony, it had a nice view down the road and had a drying rack. We hired out the Karaoke set for four hours, but they let us keep it longer than that! I’d never done Karaoke, and let me tell you that there’s an art to it. Pick a slow song, it’s easier! If you are hoping to grill, you will need to provide your own charcoal. We had leftovers and the staff was happy to put it in the fridge overnight so we could have it for breakfast the next day. Bar and breakfast prices were very reasonable. The bar stays open until 11pm, and they don’t mind if you just chill there for a while. The wifi connection was a little weak, but tolerable enough for most processes. It reached almost to the beach but not quite. There was also wifi in the lobby, but it wasn’t accessible from inside the room. On our final morning a wedding was taking place. I was surprised – the gown was just put out in the middle of the pathway without any supervision! Perhaps their kids are more careful than ours. It was certainly a beautiful location with lovely ponds and garden walks. I didn’t realise at the time, but there was actually a sort of waterpark across the road still within the same resort. The water was nice and seemed clean, as did the rest of the pools. If you get easily sunburnt like me, you’ll be happy to note that parts of the main pool are in natural shade. I’d suggest going back to your room or the bar to use the bathroom though, as the pool facilities were a...
Read moreI called the resort in advance to book for a front shoreline shade pax 20-25. Good thing I called the day before to confirm. They said there was no booking under my name ( Arcy). I inquired if the front shoreline shade was available the lady I spoke to said "yes" so I booked it as I dont want to turn up with my family and nowhere to cook/ put our things. On March 31st 2024, I paid 3,300peso for the Front shoreline shade plus 200 entrance fee each for 17 adults but I was given cabana 1. No receipt was given just stamp on hand to all parties (17 adults) and 500peso voucher to be redeemed at the restaurant. When I went back to reception to asked to be moved to the front single shoreline shade 1 as there was no space for 17 adults to the Cabana 1, the same lady who served us just shrug her shoulder and told us the guest who reseved the front shoreline shade were on their way, in yet it was empty the whole time we were there. They could have charged me extra if needed. The security guard changed the front shoreline shade number 1 to number 2. There was a senior with us, the receptionist asked for a local ID, I provided a passport as he is a none Filipino citizen but the receptionist insist for us to show a local ID as proof of his seniority. It doesn't make sense as the guest was a foreigner. You should not discriminate foreigner guest. Restaurant- staffs, ushers, security guards and lifeguards were friendly and polite. Toilet- there was only one toilet for Men and women to be used by hundred + guest. Showers- were unhygienic, no bin inside the toilet to put dirty tissues. Used sanitary napkins were stuck on the soap dispenser. The Beach- Not able to deep foot in the sea as other guest got stung by jelly fish. Clothing- Should be price labeled properly, my sister bought 3 Polo shirts for my nephews, the sales lady directed her to the receptionist. The receptionist checked the price on the computer and they confirmed it was 350 each. She clarified again if the price was corrrect but was shocked when she was charged 650 for...
Read moreI'd say it's a near excellent stay. The room I stayed is well maintained and clean. All appliances and devices in the room are working, except that the water heater in the bathroom is not. Next up is that there are designated smoking areas as well as rule that smoking must be only conducted in those areas BUT it is not strictly implemented. I woke up and get out the door and instead of morning clean breeze I am instead greeted by smell of smoke from a cigarette lighted up by a smoker next door which is not smoking in the designated area. Somehow, several reviews are pointing to mosquitoes being present in their rooms somehow, and yeah I had some as well even if the windows are tightly shut and doors as well, might be the little gaps but it is tolerable for me because in my hometown mosquitoes is a problem. Event area is well air conditioned and has wifi, oh by the way the room I stayed at also have wifi but you should ask the wifi password at the lobby. Food is good as well. Service attendants are polite and well mannered, though I don't know for the others, I didn't have the chance to meet or encounter them all. Pool area is clean, snack and drink bar is accessible (I don't know about the prices though because I didn't have the leisure to check on it). Rules are posted at the entrance of your rooms you should check it. That's all I have observed and experienced I might update my review when I have another chance to do so. Thank you, have a nice...
