A small, crowded AND noisy restaurant. Weāve been there on the weekend for lunch and the place was packed with customers and they played a really annoying, loud kind of Techno music, we couldnāt have a normal conversation at the table, we had to raise our voiceš”š”š”. In addition the air con in the second floor was OFF, only the first floor was air conditioned, it was so hot. Waiting time for the food was with 30min at the absolute limit, more we wouldnāt accept. Staff is friendly, but not really attentive at the second floor, only 1st floor and outsideš°. We had a steamed Pampona, mussels and popcorn shrimps. The fish was overcooked and almost cold when it reaches our table. The mussels are still attached to the half shell, I would expect from a seafood restaurant that the muscle of the mussels would be cut off. The bread which was served with the mussels was greasy and soaked in oilš±.The popcorn shrimp were crispy but not cleanedš¤®, and served with the head. We are no friends of eating intestines and heads, so the shrimps are a NO GO for us. The dip or sauce served with the shrimps was COLD!!! All in all: fish overcooked, cold but good taste mussels not cut off, bread unhealthy greasy shrimps for us a NO GO I think this was an One Time Visit ONLYš° Not only coz of the food also coz the restaurant is on the pricy side and you donāt get the quality you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe ate at Baybay Seafood and Grill is nothing short of spectacular. I had the pleasure of trying the Captainās Catch Seafood Feast, which offered a delightful array of fresh seafood, and the freshness was evident in every bite, making it clear that the seafood was sourced locally and prepared with care. Each component of the feast was seasoned to perfection, highlighting the natural flavors of the seafood without overwhelming them, while the shellfish was firm and juicy, providing a satisfying texture and the presentation was equally impressive, with the seafood beautifully arranged, making the dish as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. The service at Baybay Seafood and Grill was top-notch and also the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, my experience at Baybay Seafood and Grill was exceptional. The combination of fresh, delicious seafood, excellent service, and a pleasant ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone in Panicsican, San Juan, La Union. I would highly recommend this restaurant to seafood lovers and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverall, the seafood bucket is a value-for-money order. I could've done better with the picture, but it had medium crabs, shrimp, 3 types of clams (razor daw, cockles, scallops), one pusit š sausage, a few marble potatoes, and a peppery sauce that will make you ask for more rice š„²
I ordered extra Cajun clams, I assumed it didn't have any (d ko ata nabasa) cheese pero meron. Masarap nman- it just didn't have the Cajun flavor.
Kids had chicken wings and fish fillet. Uhmmm k lang. The tartar sauce was ok too. Nothing fancy.
The waiters got overwhelmed when the waiting lines started. A little training can help them, but they tried their best.
I wish they didn't use disposable cups though, nkakachipipay kc e the place was ok din nman. The paper cups were...nkakasira sa picture, nakakadagdag pa sa solid waste.
Would I come back? Yes. For the seafood bucket.
