Dia at Patio by Balai Norte — Restaurant in La Union

THE ABSOLUTE WORST THING IN LA UNION.

Too expensive for what you'll get Food is laughable. Ang laki ng plate. Rice is bigger than my palm. The salisbury steak is the size of a thumb. And if you think, well ok lang if konti basta masarap, nope. It's too salty with zero flavor. Coffee is meh Service is as bad as the food. You have to call and repeat your request several times before you get assistance. I had to stand up. Go to the bar and give them my card just so I can finally pay and get the hell out of there . And when I did, one of the staff looked at me weird. What kind of customer service training do these guys have? There was a big group (family) which took up most of the place. And it doesn't seem like the staff is equipped to handle such big groups, much less cater to other diners. To think na hotel and restaurant ito ha. Our bill was 1200 pesos but food and service was worth 200 probably. All other places I visited during the remainder of my LU trip were a million times better.

Don't come here unless they're pointing a gun to your head.

May be the best hotel in La Union.

Place is relaxing, and everyone and all the staff feels in sync. (You constantly feel everything is in a good flow).

All the food was great. You can really taste that all were prepared with care. Texture and flavor are all balanced. (Prices are really good considering the quality.)

Finally, the coffee is really great. It is easily specialty coffee quality.

Overall a great place that feels easy and doesn't try hard. We can easily sit around the hotel with just the accommodating staff, relaxing ambiance, and...

The Dia was very very good, it is a must to go here when you are checked in at the Patio. The garlic shrimp flatbread was super flavorful that we wanted to order again. Their all day breakfast was also worth it. The one we tried was the chicken tocino it was packed. You’ll be full. Our drinks were raspberry iced tea and iced americano. The dia also offer pastries. And we tried the new york cheesecake. You’ll be okay for the small serving of the cheesecake unless you have a very very big sweet tooth. Overall we had a blast having...
