ON Hotel — Hotel in Mabalacat

I booked this hotel because I was running a marathon down the street and needed the convenient location.

I would never book this hotel again. The only thing this hotel has going for it is a large spacious room and a clean Queen sized bed... though that has a mattress protector that crackles with every shift of your weight. The decor looks very dated. The television is not a smart TV.. it's cable with only 2 channels.

The service here was a series of blunders that made it seem like they were actively trying to find ways to make a mistake.

First, the room had towels from the previous guest. They were wet and draped in the closet still. The bathroom didnt have toilet paper stocked and there were used toothbrushes from the previous guest. The drawers had candy wrappers and other plastic film in them. The carpet had not been vacuumed in a while it seemed.

Second, the breakfast was terrible. It was a greasy mess devoid of salt or any care. It was insulting?

Third, the spa has strange hours considering it is in house and the staff did everything they could to make scheduling a massage inconvenient.

Fourth, when I was in the lobby to get toilet paper because it wasn't stocked for my room... the hotel staff gave a couple their room key but told them the wrong room number. The key successfully opened the door to another guests room? So they aren't specific to your assigned room??? The guests inside were alarmed and their sense of security was removed. The guests who entered were embarrassed and just as shocked. The hotel staff laughed about it...

You can find a better hotel at this price point nearby without question....

The room is very spacious for its price. However, they need more improvement in their services.

We extended our stay from 2 to 3 nights. We promptly informed the front desk about our 1 day extension. We already paid in cash the first 2 days and we were also asked for a deposit of Php 3,000.00 which is refundable upon check out.

During the afternoon of our 2nd day, me & my son went to a nearby mall. My wife begged to stay in the room to catch up on her sleep because she was having difficulty adjusting to the time difference from the country were we are currently living.

To our dismay, the staff from the front desk called our room to ask for payment for the 3rd day. This disturbed my wife who was trying to catch up on her sleep.

Upon arrival from the nearby mall, I discreetly asked the front desk personnel to go to the side a bit away from the front desk so that no one can hear me complain.

To my surprise, the guard on duty brought the Hotel Supervisor and told me to make any complaints direct to the Supervisor.

I told the Supervisor, I didn’t complain directly to her because I wanted to help the staff improve her performance and at the same time shield her from any disciplinary actions.

The hotel rooms are great. The location is perfect. It’s just the service that needs...

There are a lot of minor issues with Villa 401. Like the walls that just broke, or there’s also a broken TV on the Master Bedroom… The pictures are shown below. Also, we didn’t use the TV on that time…

There was the information counter which led my family to 401, but well. Nothing else new. I’m just gonna leave a 5-star for this I guess.

The Location? It literally took me over 100 km to come over here. (Depends on your Location) But the wait was deserved ;)

If I could rate on decimals, This would be 4.1 for now. You might stay here if you want to.

Now, I transferred to Villa 403. Should be fine, right?

When we transferred, there seems to be a difference. A little amount of minor inconvenience issues, and even it’s green now. Also, there’s randomly paintings which 401 did not have. Does this feel better now, anyone?
