Meaco Royal Hotel -Tayuman — Hotel in Manila

We stayed overnight here on April 3-4 in their executive family room. We are 4 adults and 1 eleven years old.. and for us, this is a great value. We booked via zenrooms app for almost 2400php.. however, when we arrived the attendant had trouble with my booking. Inspite of what happened they accommodated us. The staffs are all very accommodating all throughout our stay. Beside this place is novo, you park outside. Nothing to worry since there's security guard. Our room consists of 3 double size beds. There's tv, bed side tables, and airconditioner (very cold). They have bidet, hot and cold shower. The pillows and blankets are soft and clean. They have breakfast menu below 200php, but we didn't try them. We decided to eat outside. Infront of this hotel is 7-11, there's bakery, andoks and lomi batangueno. A lot of food shops around the place. It is also very near in Divisoria, US Embassy, Intramuros, UST and other famous landmarks in Manila area. First off, rooms are pricey. It's not very clean either, walls are dirty; nothing like the pictures they post here. Staffs are NOT accomodating, they talk to you like you're just a regular person, not a guest. They wouldn't even flash a single smile while holding a poker face throughout the whole checking in and checking out process, not a single "thank you" either, basically lacking off all of the customer service things you would typically experience in a decent hotel. Last but not the least, they would charge you EXTRA for a few spots you leave (that is washable) in their amenities. They would even charge you for a spot that is ALREADY THERE upon entering the room. This is the WORST hotel I have ever been to. 1000 for 24 hours. Open time check in and check out. Comfortable semi cozy bedroom .huge bathroom with hot and cold shower. Good wifi. Very much near everything. Walking distance to Cathedral church. Front of 7/11. Banahaw healspa. Ride a pedicab up to tutuban divisoria. One jeepney ride to Puregold, sm san lazaro and LRT tayuman.
