If there's no stars for rating, I will, for rooms and service. The location is good depending on where you wanted to go. My gf had a blood test the next day, so instead of travelling that few hours home, we decided to stay in a nearby hotel. Choose this hotel because it is the nearest. The front desk service was bad and slow. And wasn't given a disposable tooth brush as the staff say that they ran out of it. The room we stayed in was on the highest floor. It is on the 7th floor and there's no lift! Inside the room, there was an extra queen size bed on the floor so we assume it was a family room. The room is considered big as there were 2 queen size beds and the walking area is considered favourable. But surprisingly there's no other essential furniture like cupboards, tables and chairs. There's no place to hang our stuff. And we ended up placing it on the extra bed...🤦 The air con in the room is miserable, it cannot be adjust to swing and it took the whole night to really cool down the room! The bed sheets seems old and the color is off white, towards grey. It is dirty with dust, like Susuwatari(the wandering soots) in the Ghibli movie. In fact, there's many Susuwatari in the room, at the edge of our bed, on the bed, on the curtain, on the ledge of the bedside etc. It is quite unpleasant, you need to be extremely gentle when gliding the curtains...the windows in the room were unlocked but even so it just doesn't feel right. The window grills were welded and makes it dangerous, if there's fire, we will be trapped! The door of the room is a simple door that most of us installed at home, in our bedrooms. This door does not comes with a safety lock which makes it feel flimsy and unsafe to sleep in. The toilet has no cover for the toilet bowl, no hangers or rack to put our clothing in if we need to shower. After going to the toilet a few times, we are unable to flush the toilet as there is no water!!!! We called the front desk at 9:30pm, she say would ask her colleague to come take a look but I was up almost the whole night and didn't open the door for a single soul to fix the toilet. This is really frustrating. The worst thing was, there's a phone in the room that doesn't have a dial tone! 🤬 Overall I felt the whole experience was shocking, frustrating and disappointing. This is not the way to do a business, without essential items in the room is...
Read moreGreat location. Booking via the RedDoorz app is convenient. That also ensures they have some amenities for the booking like water, toothbrush and toothpaste. But I was only given water for my first booking. No additional water for my extension nights that I booked again. I was given a floor on the 4th floor. No elevator. While there are a few rooms on the 1st floor, I think that is reserved for the seniors and PWD. Staff are...
